More clarification on new Summerset attack damage

My question is regarding light attacks. Are they the same speed for both bows and staves? (I think this was addressed a long time ago, but not sure where it landed). Moreover, is the projectile speed for both weapons the same? In practice it seems to me that staff shots are slower than bows. Could be my own perception, but any technical knowledge posted would be appreciated.

Also like to know how much "more damage" we're talking about here. Is there a formula that can cover this? Since light attacks are the way the Devs want us to go, is it going to be worth it.
With focus on resource pools how much are we talking here? A useless 5-10%? Or more like a 20%+ improvement over current light attacks?

Now regarding heavy attacks. I think these should just remain the same as they are now. Not less damage, not more damage. Although there could be an argument for more damage based on reality with swords. Your simply going to hit harder with a bigger swing. That's just basic physics and kinetic energy. A magic blast from a staff is of course purely theoretical because it's not in the real world.
