First time trying to install PTS for summerrest beta invite, but it is taking extremely long. Went to bed last night and it was at 13% and when I woke up it was at 8%? I have never done a PST so not sure how long it should take, but I cant seem to find any similar issues about it on the forums.

Harrdarrzarr✭✭✭There was a phase where downloadspeed was at about 400 kb/s. Although that was only for about 100 mb data. I started the complete pts-download at about 18:30, it was finished at about 01:00 in the night.

That's cool but many people are only getting to 20% - 25% in excess of 10 hours DL. There is also a content failed issue and repair option resetting DL to 0%. In general not a good DL experience for many.

megageeklizzy✭✭✭I tried to update my PTS yesterday. My internet isn't great where I live, but after about ten hours it was still at 7%. No error or anything, just terribly slow. Had to shut the computer down before it was anywhere near finished, so I'm guessing it'll be starting from 0% again. At this rate, I'll never get in. Hope they fix it soon. Guess I'm just glad to hear I'm not the only one. -

The launcher should verify files then continue DL from where it was when you switched off computer. The word 'should' is key here! Also, if you try a repair then continue DL it will, possibly, restart from 0% and not from where it left off.

Chakei✭✭✭I started the PTS DL at about 3:45pm EST yesterday. As of 10pm last night it was 15%. Left the launcher open all night, looked at it this morning, it was at 1%. Since roughly 8:30-9 this morning it's gone to 21% and is now at 0.0KB/s.
Edit: Now I have an "HTTP request failed" message at 21% downloaded.Edited by Chakei on April 17, 2018 2:21PM -
hellhound223✭✭✭I've been having trouble getting mine to download, too. I repaired last night after stalling at 23%, woke up to check this morning before work and found it had backtracked again. Restarted my computer, got it installed, but then it crashed upon trying to load, so I tried repairing again; left it to install while I'm at work today. Hoping it will be done when I get home...but not optimistic.PC-NA -
StrafeSinnlos✭✭✭My download also stalled at 21%, said "HTTP request failure," and started backtracking. This happened twice already.
It doesn't seem like the problem is on my side. Any solutions?
