Before anyone says it: I know it won't happen. I understand this.
But man, it would be nice if like, a month or even two months out, ZOS laid out a) what limited time goodies they were offering in the crown store, and b) when they were being offered.
I know the current system is meant to take advantage of impulse buyers; the sales structure can't be interpreted any other way. But the ability to go "oh, this thing in the crown store is cool, but this thing they're offering in a week and half is something that I'd much rather buy, so I'm going to save my crowns for that" would be nice; it would also be somewhat refreshing in the face of charging $30-$40 for mounts.
Like, I get it; ZOS wants my $30. And if I could see a little bit ahead to say "ah, *this* is the one I'm going to shell out $30 for", I would appreciate it. But I would submit that if they are hoping/expecting people to shell out $30 per mount, *every time they have a mount sale*, then I suspect they are pinning their hopes and dreams on a subset of a subset of a subset of a subset of the playerbase.
I mean, the marketing team will do what the marketing team does; I just wish they weren't so blatantly setting themselves up as an impulse-buyer apex predator.
