Is it time to look at healing ward?

Waiting 6 seconds for a heal these days is like forever. With Sorcs 6 sec shield it hard to protect that heal as well. Should healing ward be lowered to 3-4 sec? Every other class can just about heal to full in one GCD. Just looking for some honest feedback, thanks.

If anything Healing Ward should be nerfed not buffed.

ZoS made all damage shields last for 6 seconds, while actually every class has access to it, but also every class has a instant heal. but for sorcerer its locked behind the twilight matriarch (one of both morphs) or behind the clanbann. or you go for darkdeal, which has a little casttime.
but healing ward should stay untouched, since it fits into the rules of damage shields and is easy stackable with other shields. most classes anyway use it as oh *** button because of the shield and not the healing. also the 6 seconds grant a nice synergy with mistform with casting ward, going mistform and pretty much when you get out of mistform the remaining shield heals up.

Sorcs can afford to wait this time by stacking other shields to protect it. Other classes who use this skill cannot afford such time. Infact this skill is super powerful on a sorc with low health due to how it scales and that they can protect it almost endlessly it seems.

Magblade are forced to use it as a 'defensive spammable' and sometimes it goes to some rando in a zerg instead of the user causing them to die. They also have to disengage to get the warden to heal them, most of the time they have to deal with the initial hit of the ward and hope the rest of their HoT effects bring them back up

Templars have an option to use it but most do not

Some mDKs use this when taking a lot of heat

Some MagWardens use this due to the tight cone of shrooms. Healing ward is a big help to any Magic Warden that has a hard time aiming their shrooms

Not every class can heal to full in one GCD save for a not defiled templar. Magblades have to fully disengage. DK needs to have had embers going for awhile before they get a good heal but can spam embers a few times to stay afloat

Shieldstacking doesnt work that way. 1st shield used is 1st shield consumed by dmg. By that logic if You'll use healing ward and then Harness+hardened ward still healing ward will be consumed 1st. If You'll use hardened or harness before healing ward but then recast those 2 then healing ward will start to be consumed. As for other classes go every one of them have some source of healing under healing ward. As You can see it's not like You can reliably protect healing ward with other shields. to do it You need to weave it with other shields.

most sorcs dont start with healing ward when shielding up because of said reason. so you aim to avoid as much damage in those 6 seconds, that harness and hardened arent used, so you get the max healing from healing ward. this is possible by going a bit defensive, a bit of blocking, a dodgeroll or streak away from melee range. also sorcs have passive healing from crit surge. and if nothing else helps then slot twilight matrarch for the burst heal.

It's useful in PvP for defense. In PvE it's still useful when learning to play warden. It's also useful when tanks are below restiances cap. Also good when they simply seem excessivly squishy. It can help tanks in blood root often. On other hand just talking about shield not heal. Ward Ally is better option.
