I have no words. No words. First of all, Zenimax got bored, maintenance always when EU player could play. Why always America First?? [Edited to remove baiting] It is ok, but you enjoy Dollars and Euro at the same way. During these days it was impossibile to play this embarassing game on Eu server. Permaloading, server down every 2 hours (always during EU play time), server resets, server trouble... etc. It is embarassing, no one from the staff offer us a refound for the time lost (eso plus). Should we open a ticket? it's ok, but a serious company should contact us of its own free will (i mean serious, not zenimax). You are not serious people, you dont take care about your customers/players. What can we do? STOP buying crown crates, stop buying Eso plus. All toghter explain these people that we are TIRED of your treatment

    Yeah the OP's rant wasn't really the best way to go about things, but at the same time even I have to start to wonder.... is the EU server actually, literally made out of potatoes? That's the only takeaway I can logically get from all the issues and maintenances we've had over the last few days, lol.

    Honestly i can’t understad how for some of you is normal a total downtime of 8-9 hours out of 48 hours.. let’s say 4 today and 4 tomorrow in a row... it’s a very big percentange of down time and surely is not normal.. just an objective point of view

    Blizzard is US located too and they can...so its more that they wont then that the cant.

    Sorry, can you explain me in wich country emergencies are treated only during workin hours? In wich sector? So for you it is normal that we pay for a broken game? Invest money on EU servers if they need. Otherwise try to do your job properly.

    At the beginning a subscription was required! A SUBSCRIPTION and for you it is strange to ask for a 24h service?? are you crazy?

    Amazon also dwarfs ZOS in scale, so I wouldn't really be using them as an example.

    The fact that the issues are constrained to EU is annoying and frustrating, but they tried a different maintenance schedule to begin with and that was even worse than what we have now. No matter what time they do maintenance, it'll be screwing someone over. At least the server is usually up by the time you'd get home from work. The Oceanic players pretty much lose out on an evening.

    Hopefully the server gets its act together after this reboot.

    For me usually downtime is when im at work, so i dont care. They r pretty good at hitting a day off/regional holiday tho. Not really their fault.

    The real issue is not so much the timing, but the regularity with which a patch or just a simple maintenance, breaks more things than it fixes (and seemingly more often with the EU server)

    My guess is that they test patches against an backup of the us server.
    if it work they go live, EU server is different because of other data, this is well known then updating databases.
    If critical you ask for an DB backup so you can test it, most has an test server who also test the internal environment.

    Noobs in action, you queue for wayrest 1 normal for quest, you come in at start and and the other 3 are rezzing.
    This is the skill level we are seeing.
    Do not worry this one has seen worse, its probably outsourced to India.
    In this case skill level is an magnitude lower, the guys who only LA and always activate hard mode.
    Had to do an serious update for an major oil company, the 20.12.17, this had to be done before 2018.
    I said OK, but

    Shouldn't you be at work on Monday or something? Just work harder on Mondays and you will have more money to spend on Crown Crates.

    Seriously, though - I don't like the time of the server maintenance either but I never think that Zenimax is against me personally or it's somehow political and Trump asked Zenimax to do server maintenance just to mess with me. That's a pretty weird thing to think.

    Something is up at the EU datacentre, as both XBox and PS4 are likewise suffering problems, but they seem to be connection difficulties more than anything else. I honestly would not be surprised if the EU datacentre is sharing bandwidth with something like fortnite which has taken the greater majority of the XBox playerbase right now.
