Just curious, not looking to bash them, especially since I think it's entirely possible that my main IS a member of the least popular race. We have no sure way of knowing without an official confirmation (I guess) but is there even a vague general consensus among us?

My guess is Imperials.
You have to pay extra to get them (which not everyone is willing to do) and I'm pretty sure their racials are similar to Redguard.Founder and Co-GM of The Psijic Order Guild (NA)

Dapper Dinosaur✭✭✭✭✭I'm seconding the imperials. Paywalls are a huge deterrent to playing a race and their racials aren't even anything to write home about. Orcs might be the ugliest race, but at least by playing an orc you can still have a good build.4

We're arguing that they decided to go for the most boring, mundane, seen-before interpretation possible. Like they almost always do, unless they can ride on the coat-tails of past games.1 -

Argonian racials are too good, that balances out the hate. (we are not talking about personal favorites here, but rather playerbase at large)

nords are decent tanks but argonians and imperials have better passives for it and they arent really good for dps or healing for the most part
