...and I still think this would be the best way to implement it, and not -just- for Bards/Dancers!TheShadowScout wrote: »I kinda wish they would change that, add a whole system to it... instead of counting such as furniture, smaller houses might have one "pet" slot, and the bigger houses should also have "mount" and "servent" slots depending on their size, so you can add a NPC maid (argonians seem traditional for some reason) or butler, a guard, a cook and stable boy perhaps... that sort of thing.
The pets might not be static, but wander around in an adjustable area, and there could even be placable furniture they interact with... a pillow they curl up on for a nap, a bowl they feed from, a toy (like that ball of yarn) they play with, etc.
The mounts might also not be static, but have their own pasture-area to wander, and interactions with stuff like drinking from water-trough, resting in the stable-stall, whatever.
And the servants might come in a wide varietee for hire (basic shapes and combinations from a town agency for gold, and special options in the crown store... so you can hire the normal argonian maid in town, but the extra busty one you gotta pay crowns for... the normal nord guard goes for gold, but if you want to hire the heroic musclebound amazon you pay crowns... etc.) and be fully attire-customizable (crown store costumes? Maybe the outfit system too, though since they are more for civilian clothing stuff, well...) and would wander around the house, possibly customized by "job personalities" - like, fit an NPC with a "cook" personality, they will be busy in the kitchen and occasionally wander to the herb garden, a "maid" might wander around doing cleaning type animations in various rooms, a "guard" might just wander and stand at attention near the entrace, a "stablehand" might shovel hay and other things near placed mounts, a "entertainer" might dance and possibly other things, a "bard" might play songs and take the occasional break to drown a mug for throat-wetting purposes, etc.
It would be a whole new system they could tempt people to sink major amounts of crowns into!

Preferably by "hiring" (Buying) the aforementiond staff, with special ones (like the Merchant and Banker, daedric butler etc) being crown store.

I don't want to be a smartass but why do people honestly think that buying a massive giant piece of land or a huge fortress/castle isn't going to feel empty. My common sense tells me those are for guilds or sharing in general. My main property is a medium sleek creek house and my pets and merchants are making it alive more than enough
Anywaayyss... On topic: Yes please! I'd love to see mannequins and perhaps servants also besides a bard and dancers.
