Weapon traits change?

With summerset we will all be able to run 5/5/2 setups from now on. This opens up a lot of possibilities for setups in PvE and PvP. But since we already got this far, why not bring weapons and weapon traits in line, so they effect all weapons the same?

First of we have bows and staves which have a lower base weapon and spelldamage than 2h weapons or dual wield. Maybe we already can make some changes there and adjust those numbers. I know that staves get buffed anyway by stronger light attacks, but still there is some kind of disturbance in the system, when not all two handed weapons provide the same base damage. What do you guys think about that?

The second point, where i want to hear your opinion is about some of the weapon traits. Most traits habe the doubled effect on two handed weapons, while one hand weapons dont have the same strength. This counts for traits like training, sharpened, precise and so on. The two traits infused and nirnhoned doesnt follow this rule. And there we get some „injustice“ again. Lets first have a look at infused. A legendary infused item makes enchantements 30% percent stronger and reduces its cooldown by 50%. Now this counts for all weapon types the same. Now if we look at dual wield, you can have two enchantements and one weapon in another trait, but the cooldown reduction applies on both enchantements and the strengthening has the same amount like two handed weapons. Again i am not sure if a change would make much difference, but wouldnt things be more in line, if the cooldown only applies for the enchantement on said weapons and effect will be 15% stronger instead of 30% as long only one weapon of dual wield is infused?

Also the nirnhoned trait favours some weapon types more than others. This also is connected to the different base damage the weapons provide. For example a legendary staff has a base damage of 1335 and gains 200 damage by the nirnhoned trait. The same goes for bows. Now in a 1h and shield setup we gain same bonus by nirnhoned and also have a trait on the shield. If we look at 2h we have an increased base damage abd therefore more additional damage from nirnhoned too. Dual wield also profits pretty much the same as a staff when using nirnhoned one the main hand. But we also can add another trait like sharpened ob the offhand to even get more benefits. This is a huge advantage over bows and staves. I thought that maybe a fix value would be better than the percentage nirnhoned provides atm. For example could the nirnhoned trait add 150 base damage to one hand weapons with the trait and 300 to two handed weapons. That would benefit staves and bows a bit and wouldnt make much difference for dual wield and 2h (naturally this also works with other numbers like 200, which is the bonus we got on legendary bows, staves and one hand weapons atm).

Another thing which comes in mind to make the system more in line, would be that we can have two traits on two handed weapons and one trait for one hand weapons. This would allow more variety in builds, sinde we could choose between a doubled effect on two handed weapons or two different traits with the size of one hand traits (this still requires a rework of nirnhoned from a percentage number to a fixed value).

I would like to know what you guys think about this topic.
