warden ice mage and ice tank is underrated

just yesterday i got to looking in my bank to see what i had to make my argonian warden a full ice mage and ice tank, just for fun.
using 2 iceheart monster set and 3 willpower jewelry is a given.
what else do i have that features ice? i found 2 sets and tried each one, one at a time.
first one: ysgramors birthright.
WOW!!! huge difference! i think it outperforms julianos since i am using a very specific ice setup.
going 5 light 1 medium 1 heavy in this loadout was great doing overland content solo and just for messing around. it fit the “theme” of being an ice mage and i liked it.
i wont run dungeons with it since i have tri focus unlocked, out of respect for the tanks.
i wanted to do dungeons as an ice tank, so i needed 5 heavy armor to go 5/1/1.
so next up: ice furnace.
WHY DOES THIS SET GET SO MUCH HATE???
i understand it is on a technical level “the worst set in ESO” but so what!
every gear set and skill and enchantment on the build plays off each other so well!!!
it works and is so much fun! ran a few dungeons and they all went very smooth!
no joke... this is the most fun i have ever had as a tank in ESO.

1: of course you were doing great in overland content, overland is basically a faceroll, I mean I steamroll it on a HEALER for crying out loud
2: ice furnace gets a lot of hate due to the effect not working with all ice abiltites for whatever reason (10/10 programming zos <.<)0 -

✭Had a Nord Warden "ice Mage" earlier. Ran all legendary dw/destro Necropotence and Ysgramor, and had the Iceheart monster set too. I had 49k magicka all buffed up, good resistance, not squishy in any way, ok sustain and all that. The damage was pretty impressive - but I found it rather annoying and cumbersome to find some decent rotation, so I turned him into one of these Stamwarden PVP toons instead. Mostly because I didn't feel like grinding up yet another character for that. Nords are hardly best pick for magicka dps anyway... ;-)
Didn't exactly do any more demanding or vet trials or whatever with him, but any other kind of PVE content was a breeze. Even left Falkreath/Mazzatun/Cradle of Shadows with nothing but ice statues behind. LOL
It's a fun and entertaining "pseudo-class", and I hope we'll see more changes making it more viable than it is now.0
