Can you imagine a lich crystal variant of Wall of Elements? Or perhaps the lich variant of Ash Cloud (or whatever the class AoE skill is)? But instead of doing: Flame, frost, or lightning damage, it does oblivion damage. Or perhaps magic damage (better scaling with champion points). And for the animation, it releases a multitude of said crystals which rise and then shatter. Essentially working how the 2pcs. from CoH2 works. That would be incredible.
Oh, and if it were in fact a Necromancer skill. For stamina builds, a morph of the skill could be summoning a pit of grasping zombie hands rather than lich crystals. And said hands would do either disease damage or poison damage.
