Decided to grind up my DW during the Easter break, all of the following clips were recorded during the first 2 days of me learning the playstyle so it's a bit messy.

Figured since I'm going to die either way if I get caught out in open field, I might as well stack enough damage to wipe some of them before I get dumpsted. Helps solve the problem of not being able to kill anything that can dodge away in medum armor this patch as well.

Finally, I thought I'd use the song from the video that somewhat kickstarted this channel as a farewell tribute to the old SnB playstyle, it's been a great ride but I can't see myself sticking with it.

Generally running out of resources, especially if I'm getting Xv1'd by only stamina classes or having a prolonged fight in open field. Front loaded bursts I can usually recover from since I can just harness and resto shield unless there's a good amount of pressure that follows the burst which keeps me from going on the offensive, thus healing.

Yeah the weapon changes should be interesting, so many build possibilities next patch! One build I'd love to try would be shackle, amber and bloodspawn, 3 well fitted so I can dodge around and pretend to be a stamblade.

Edit: Especially if I can run 2h/resto and have forwards, solving my mobility issue.

Could do destro/resto, or if the improvement to dk self heals are good enough we don't need healing ward or resto ult, we could even do dual wield/destro and still have access to ele drain.

Its true, although I have never liked DW on DK.
w/o the extra set bonus I don't think it adds anything over a destro or 2H. Passives for destro and 2H are just much better.

Thanks! If reflective plate only removes snares and doesn't give immunity for 2-4s I might just run forwards instead of having to recast wings every time I'm snared.

Between snipe, poison injection, destructive reach, or other skills being spammed at me, especially in BGs, I find myself casting wings every 4-6 secs or so already. I could do with it being a little cheaper because of that, however. Or have it give major heroism or something (*cough**wardens*).

The additional snare immunity of Forward Momentum is really attractive though.

I think next patch it's looking a lot like 2h/ice staff, fire/ice, or ice/ice will be good ways to build magDK to incorporate weakness to elements easily and if you're more block-centric then ice will allow that (unless you want to run S&B for the ult).

For duels I think I'll run 2h/destro staff next patch. For open world though I will most likely still be running healing ward if I'm playing a max magicka build/solo because I feel too many players are running duroks or some form of major defile with points invested into befoul.
