Any idea for a PVE templar nord tank?

It's my first character and my first build was based on the blazing shield and max health and all that but now this build is ***. I don't even know how to start a build on my own.

Have a look at alcasts homepage.
Otherwise i recommend ah sword amd shield bar and an ice staff bar. For supportsets ebony male and alkosh are nice, especially that allosh only need to be active on snb bar. As a templar tank you dont have stamina return while blocking with a shield, thats why a an ice staff is necessary, since templars can restore magicka efficiently while blocking with magicka (ice staff). With runefocus you have a lot of free magicka sustain. Also it provides a crowd control ability, which templar lacks. Elemental blockade slows down enemies, roots them and apllies minor maim. It also gives you magicka sustain, if elemental drain is provided. To pull enemies to you, swarm mother is a very good set. Another skill you probably want to use besides of standarf skills like puncture, low slash, inner fire is ritual of retribution, again a huge aoe snare and damage and also provides a nice synergy. Additionally repentance surely is worth to use it when there is no healer or stamplar around. Its free stamina and healing from dead enemies. Maybe also luminous shards are nice to support the groups sustain. Also ele drain can help, if the healer doesnt provide it.

Something like this, except I would replace warrior poet with ebon.

The Templar part is quite bad, since Templar can't really do any of the tanking stuff:
    - the class has no snare, stun or CC for enemies
    - block for extended periods is conditional on having dead enemies to repent
    - blazing shield damage has been greatly reduced: it is now very low - PvE (2-3K DPS), PvP half of that so it won't even bother people.

So I recommend making this char a stamina DD instead by reallocating his attribute points in stamina and focusing on 2H, 2W & Bow skill lines, and make a DK or Warden to use as tank. In PvE a Stamina Warden DD in fact does a lot for the group since he can equip support sets such as Sunderflame and NMG as well as the unique resistance debuff, Power of the Light, whose copied damage scales on maximum stamina.Tanking is doable on Templar, or course, but only if you are very experienced at the content, know when to drop block and heavy attack and have specialized armor sets that fill up for the missing functionality, for example Swarm Mother as pseudo-chains. The margin of error is thus much smaller than on DK, who can spam Igneous Shield to recovery 1K stamina per cast, or Warden that has Bull Netch and various class passives that help recover stamina while healing. Those classes are also better as blockers in PvP, due to the same reasons.
