Couple of Questions

Played at launch (if you can't tell by my name) but quickly quit after a couple weeks. Couple of quick questions.

1. Are there many opportunities for good solo PvP? If so, what?
2. How much time/money would it take me to get to a point where I can actually be competitive in PvP?
3. How is Cyrodill solo roaming? Any other "open world" PvP types out there, and if so what are they?

Looking for a great PvP game, just wondering how ESO has evolved in that regard.

No PvP is geared towards solo play, unless you want to lurk around town quest givers or alongside busy roads and gank people.

Hi.

Solo pvp has become increasingly difficult over the last couple of years, however there's still a minority that can do it successfully. If you're looking for builds that are fun to play and strong in openworld I would recommend stamina warden, stamina nightblade or magicka sorcerer, as all of them are relatively simple to play.

Gear wise the nightblade is probably easiest. You can bang on 5 bone pirate 5 shacklebreaker (crafted) and 1 domihaus shoulderpiece and you should be able to play at a relatively high level.
For Sorcs running 5 shacklebreaker 5 lich (backbar) 1 domihaus and 1 master inferno is really fun too. Lich resto and master inferno will prove a bit harder to get.
For warden you can run countless generic heavy armour stam setups. If you want executioner on your bar, the asylum greatsword will be nice. It's ridiculously easy to get that in normal Asylum Sanctorium. Also Bloodspawn is good, 7th legion, Werewolf hide, Truth, Ravager, Veiled heritance etc.

I already kind of answered your last question...Cyrodiil openworld roaming isn't easy. Often you will get rofl stomped by prime time zergs or organised guild raids. There's only a handful of consistent 1vXers on PC EU where the environment is positively hostile towards solo players. From what I've seen it's still easier on consoles (more pugs and more players) and on NA too I think.

You've posted the same thread in 2016 and 2017. I highly doubt you'll be coming back since you asked pretty much the same questions then and you're getting the same answers now that you did then.
