thinking i would be able to get cake but when i use the quest item it says This offer is no longer valid.. :( i saved so much gold, why is everyone selling it so expensive if you cant even use it? Is it possible to use it? Can i get my gold back? What do i do? I'm really sad now

    You paid for something you'll get for free in a week? The Anniversary Event will come right after the Jester's Festival!

    Sadly it has no use anymore and is only a collectors item at this point. Each year they release a new voucher for a new cake. You can try and submit a ticket but I don't think it will do any good. At least it was only 99k and can be earned back fairly quickly

    EDIT: I'm sorry but yeah the events is tomorrow and we get it for free.. well the jesters is tomorrow and the cake is the week after. so u get the exp for free these next weeks

    The Jubilee vouchers are for the annual Anniversary event quest, which gives you a cake momento which grants you an XP buff. The event starts every year in early April. The vouchers don't work after the event is over, as they give out new ones the following year.

    I'm sorry, that really does suck. On the plus side, losing 99k isn't as bad as losing 100k, right?

    That's a very small plus though.

    I'm afraid so, you can get the vouchers from the crown store for free during the event, they will start the quest.
    They don't work outside the event.

    The real question though, why the heck are they sell-able?
    This scam could have been easily prevented by not letting people sell them.

    On the bright side, you can get some really nice things from the event that sell for a nice bit of gold. You might be able to make your gold, or at least, a fair bit of it back after the event.

    Lots of people know better, but lots of people don't follow all the things so much. It would be easy for some people to see it and think hey this is a legit thing since I can buy it right now. Maybe once they are expired they should red flag with valid dates, at least then people hovering over this item in a guild store would probably notice it was not valid anymore. Or just make them bound. Most other things like this are bound.

    though i expect someone will charge in to prove me wrong.

    Well. Look at it from the positive side. It might have been a scam, but at least you WILL get the XP buff you paid for in a week :smile:

    That really sucks. To make you feel better, I will sell you this very rare DAEDRIC THRONE for the low price of 50k. As you can see from the others I have listed at 100k, this is really a very good price.

    Agreed, it is kind of sad a new player gets scammed, when although funny makes sense why a newer player would think it would be worth the money for double exp.

    They sell less cool mementos in the crown store.
    That is this year cake is higher so the old one look different.
