entropy on templar ( dps)

Hi everybody
I joined the game only recently so i'm fairly new to it.
Before posting here i've been doing my fair research all around the forums and i have not yet come to a good conclusion.
I would like to know for 4 men content like normal dungeons and vet dungeons and possibly normal trials how to have an effective PVE build without having to spend a lot of money plus having permanently into a rotation a pot every 35-40 seconds to have the major sorcery buff which seems to be very important a. the solution seems to be entropy but in my build i would have to get rid of purifying light to put entropy in place.
anyone would like to help me? all the builds i've seen around they ALL don't slot entropy but then say " use major sorcery potion". well that is not flexible to me, i don't want to rely on a potion all the times to get that important buff.. could anyone help me with an effective set up?
thank you very much for your help

since fights in dungeons mostly dont last more than a minute, why not unslot rune focus?

well.. vet dungeons can last long.. so not sure i would take away from me my main source of regeneration..

for now my setup on front bar is : emp sweep radiant oppressio purifying light inner light harness magika meteor

back bar: shards, elemental blockade inner light channeling focus vamire bane and elemental storm

not sure which one i could replace.. the only one seemed to me purifying light..

Entropy is a better option anyways because of the passive boosts it gives you from the mages guild tree.

Your other option is to use the rattlecage set which gives you major sorcery at all times. Its a heavy armor set, but you can get arcane jewelry for it from the first boss in vaults of madness and combine it with 1 weapon and 1 armor for the 5 piece bonus.

    PS4 / NA
    M'asad - Khajiit Nightblade - Healer
Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS
Bastet - Khajiit Templar - Healer
Leonin - Khajiit Warden - Tank

I would take inner light off of your back bar. Keep the passive benefits of inner light on your front bar (the bar with your damage shield!) and try to minimise the time you spend on your back bar casting AoE and buffs and it won't be a huge loss, and it is a small cost for the +20% sp damage from major sorcery.
#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

Yeah, I've had good luck with entropy on Magplar for PVE. Spell power potions are really only worth using for vet trials. Entropy damage is weak, but the Major Sorcery and Mage's Guild passives make up for it.

I'm not sure what skills you are using, but I like filling my 10 skill bar slots with:

    Sweeps or Crushing Shock
    Elemental Blockade
    Vampires Bane
    Harness Magicka
    Blazing Spear
    Purifying Light
    Entropy
    Radiant Glory
    Inner Light (both bars)

If you do end up using potions, then ritual of retribution or channeled focus can replace entropy. Both inner lights are flex spots too, since vampires bane gives Major Prophecy already (so inner light is just for the 7% max Magicka).

I use an strange build with entropy on my "cheapplar", I only manage 30-31k dps with it but since I don't currently do vTrials it works for me and I'm saving my money to gold out stuff, max inventory slots, etc.

Bar 1: Structured Entropy, Vampire's Vane, Flame Clench, Radiant Oppresion, Inner light - Empowering Sweep (For the passives)
Bar 2: Blockade of storms, Blazing Spear, Purifying light, Harness Magicka, Inner light - Elemental Rage

    Rotation:

    Single target:
    Blockade > LA > Spear > LA > Purifying Light > Swap
    LA > Entropy > LA > Bane > LA > Clench > Heavy attack > swap
    repeat

On execute I change to: (at 25-30%)

    Blockade > LA > Spear > swap
Radiant Oppresion > Radiant Oppresion > swap
    repeat

    AoE:
    Entropy > swap
Blockade > LA > Spear > Lightning heavy attack until you have to refresh blockade

For bosses with adds I do the single target rotation but I swap after flame clench and do the heavy attack with the lighning staff

I use it with 5 acuity/3 willpower/Ilambris or skoria/Master inferno(Fire enchant)/Maelstrom Lightning (Spell dmg enchant), magicka enchantments for armor and spell damage in jewellry.
I only have 750 recovery but sustain is pretty good, I only run into sustain issues in execute phase if it takes too long, but in groups the execute phase is pretty short so never had an issue so far.

I tested Julianos and Burning Spellweave instead of Acuity and they do similar dps, in fact I couldn't figure out which one is better, but since Acuity provides higher critical hit rate, I would say that it's best when you are in party with warhorn buff, i you don't already have one of those I would go for Acuity for sure. I want to test 5 acuity/5 Burning spellweave/1 Kena, I think it could beat all of the above but the BSW necklade doesn't want to drop

I don't have max CP and since there is no guide or anything for this buid, I doubt they are optimiced, I'm running 75 thaumaturge, 23 Master at arms, 35 Spell Erosion, 43 Elemental Expert, and 28+ Elforn (it's what I'm pushing now), if anyone comes up with a better CP distribution I'm all ears, Constellations suggestions don't seem to be noticeable.

If you want to do more dps I would look for a better build, but as a cheap option it has worked for me so far for everything but vtrials that I haven't tried yet.

I also use it for vMA, I remove Vampire's Bane and Inner light from the front bar and put BoL and Elemental drain instead.

Not sure if that's what you were looking for but I hope it helps.

hey guys tvm for all your inputs.
for now i slotted as suggested on my backbar instead of inner light since i have it anyway on my front execute bar as well.
my setup is a dual wield guide from a guide i found on shredgaming with 5 acuity+ 5 spellpower.. plus i'm a vampire dunmer.. i still have to train to not run in magika regen issues but i'm fairly confident to be able to pull just a decent amount of dps to do most of the content .. then i can maximize and change if things don't go good.
the thing that shocks the most is that no guide i had read focused on this important buff templars were missing and just said in the potions section what to use.. so my rotation is this currently, what do you think?

    channeled focus

blazing spear- la- blockade- vampire bane-la- entropy -la
    swap
    purifying light-la sweeps-la sweeps la
    swap
    blazing spear-la- blockade - la
    swap
    sweeps- la sweeps-la

    repeat

    what do you think?
and yes basically my front bar is execution and the back bar is buff bar and aoe
