Has anyone noticed that Zaan has nearly "gone away" in PvP?

Now granted, my sample size of this has been about a week and I do play on ps4 (so other platforms may experience something different), but I haven't run into a single Zaan user in Cyrodiil; not a single one...

Maybe that's just coincidence, but if it was as OP as some were making it out to be, then I'm certain that I would be seeing it to some degree (people as a whole do have a tendency to flock to whatever is OP afterall)...

What are you guys experience with encountering Zaan users at current?

Too much counterplay.

Like stamden it was just something with high potential but can be countered easily. People got used to it now its just OK/situational.

Glad it's not nerfed. Because a skilled player can still make use of it.

They are probably battling RNG with getting Zaan shoulder to drop from pledge chest.

I got several zaan shoulders and a helmet, haven't tried out the set yet though. Not really in a rush to.

Blobs tried to kill me on my 1 shield sorc yesteday with his melee zaan magblade.

Each time zaan procced, he almost didn't touch my health. And I was tanking zaan + incap, just easy.

Of course coudn't catch him, he was cloaking more than fighting, thinking he would kill me like it and even tried to kill me and chased me when I was going to my keep, bored about perma cloak

That's funny because the most damage he did to me was without zaan, when it ended with 2 fear putted without cc immunity (1h17min13s), he should drop it, because Zaan doesn't kill experienced player, skill does.

Only build I think it is actually effective on is Magicka Nightblade since you have more control on the proc chance with Shadowy Disguise.

I haven't fought mDKs with Zaan/Elfbane that I have noticed though.

I noticed the threads stopped.

I just assumed it had finally killed PvP entirely like everyone was screaming it was doing.

In BGs it's mostly used in organized play, or by me.

In organized Group, zaan on a DK or Templar can quickly wreck.

Most players don't use it correctly.

I, however, would not use it in open world non BGs.

Keep in mind, in CP, proc damage is mostly balanced.

It's in No CP where Proc sets / Resource poisons become OP

Most use Zaan without any unblockable CC. So it'd be a trash for them. But with things like fear, it is vicious and the only source of DPS that person needs.
