So I recently stepped over
@Alcast Youtube video where he shows that Zaan and Elf Bane share a very cool synergy. For those who don't know: Zaan creates a fire beam for five seconds on you target that deals damage each second. Elf Bane on the other hand increases the duration of all fire damage abilities by 2 seconds. Combine these, and Zaan now deals fire damage for 7 instead of 5 seconds.
I didn't know that Elf Bane is supposed to increase item sets duration, as it says abilities, but thats actually a cool feature. Now some, including me, might say using this to buff an already cheesy set (talking PvP) like Zaan might be questionable, I was really excited to see how Elf Bane buffs my Groth Darr duration. ONLY TO FIND OUT it doesn't work... As
@Alcast says in his video, ZOS states that the synergy between Zaan and Elf Bane is intended. So why is Groth Dar not affected by this? Same with Infernal Guardian...
I mean its really this sort of inconsitency that prevents me from doing cool and unique builds over and over again. I haven't though of other sets yet but am sure this synergy should apply to the remaining sets too.
