Summerset - more CP points?

They did state they would raise the cap with every annual quarter release, so it certainly will be raised with sumerset as well.

The cp system sucks.... I would much rather everyone be given like 300 or 500 or whatever amount to spec into whatever they want as soon as they hit level 50. My friends won't play the game cause they got to level 50 then realized they have to get to 160cp just to be ok for noncp stuff, then if they wanted to be competitive they had to grind HUNDREDS of CP's which get increased in every single patch.

The "endless grind" is not a substitute for content.

I'm CP 810 and I feel I can never have enough. I look forward to the day when I can max out every damage mitigation CP tree.

The time it takes to level from CP 1 to the cap never changes. Let's assume it took 100 hours to level from CP 1 to 501 two years ago, it will still take 100 hours to level from CP 1 to CP 720 today. This is because the XP curve gets adjusted with every patch to make lower CP levels require less XP.

@Sixsixsix161 that number describes how many CP that person's earned. the CP cap describes how many points a player can assign. that's why i specified that i was talking about "max-assignable CP"
the guy with 1140 can still only use 720 of them right now
