This and Ayrenn Arana's letter are the only hope for me, that we might get Summerset.
But I think we will not. I don't know why, but I somehow think we will only get Artaeum and instanced locations on Summerset, not the full province.

ZoS already said at launch that the ENTIRE continent of tamriel and its islands will be in the game by the end. So, dont worry too much.

And BioWare said that they could add 150 new planets to Star Wars The Old Republic. Guess how that ended.

True, but SWTOR was not nearly as profitable as TESO. And so far we dont have any "instance" only countries that I know of. BW buckled quickly, ZoS, with their faults and strengths, has stayed true to it so far.

    Isn't he dead?

By Elder Scrolls logic, he would be dead (if you have the choice to leave someone alive or have them die, they are always dead by lore.) But Raz lives, no matter what you choose. And well, they basically confirmed it on Twitter now.

I'm not really happy about this. If Morrowind is any indication, adding fan favourite characters is largely done for marketing reasons, and the main quest suffered because a lot of resources were pooled into Naryu's quest. I'd rather they give us something entirely new with new characters, like Wrothgar.
Ayrenn, Raz, and even Darien seem to be back ... it feels like I've played all of this before.

Naryu is an anomaly for me. I have never seen this character and don't know who this is. Is there a hidden Morrowind line ? Because the one I have played, surely did not display this character and I have never heared of her before Morrowind.

Anyways. I have no problem with them bringing back known characters.

Not sure if that's irony or not so I will answer you nevertheless:

The Balmora main questline revolves around the Morag Tong, Naryu and Veya. It's really hard to miss.

    Then, on to Akavir! B)

Think any new continent on Nirn will be expansion material, that's why (my two cents of thinking) we currently have chapters.

Would be freaking awesome one day we get to go all over Nirn! BRING ME THE ZONES!!.

Naryu was in Deshaan's main questline, I believe, and she already returned in Dark Brotherhood.

I also don't mind returning characters per se, only when they become the main focus instead of allowing the game to tell something new with new characters.

They will pretend it's the full province though. Just like Moronwind didn't include Sheogorad, and had the volcano increased to take up space. Bummerset will be much the same.

True to what so far? They have changed the payment model like every year since the game has been out. After saying at launch that they would always be sub based.

I mean I hope they fill in all the gaps, but anything said at launch is basically meaningless.

Please no whataboutisms. I was specifically talking about what they said about the countries.

So you make a guess and claim your right because the guess is correct? Ok. Kudos on good guessing skills. Was pretty obvious the first mention of the next release would come during the weeks after the last one and good chance it would occur during a regular Zos announcement, a teaser.

However, I’m gonna go our on a limb and say it’ll be announced before June and more likely than not it’ll be released in June vs announced then. Your guess just might be off s couple weeks. Morrowind released early June, iirc with PC getting it a couple weeks early. PC ends up being the official release date.

"released in June vs announced then" was a typo

Still so very easy to assume the June release since that’s when Morrowind released. Many have guessed at these dates as you have it is inevitable someone would guess right.
    Really, idk

In addition to the Balmora/Morag Tong questline of Morrowind and Naryu rescuing you off the slave ship in the opening quest of Morrowind, Naryu also appeared as a Morag Tong agent in the Pact questlines in Deshaan and Eastmarch in the base game. She is further involved with a few sidequests in the Dark Brotherhood DLC.

They also confirmed, that we will be seeing Raz again :)

    Isn't he dead?

For me this is an issue with the game. Our choice do not matter. We are forced into an outcome and when we do make a choice it is erased to what ZOS wants as if it did not happen.

PS: I will LMFAO if this announcement is for the Daedric Costume Contest and they hold off any announcement as you think. Or just the Jester Festival announcement, it is coming up after all.
