The juicy bit starts at about 45. The clip ends in a crash.

I am on a 150+ download 10+ upload internet speed, wired directly, and ESO is the only game this happens on, so don't dismiss this as an issue on my end. This only started happening after the dragon bones DLC drop. How does such a critical issue make it through QA? The game is basically unplayable for anything more than normal dungeons and overworld for me until this gets fixed. This happens on average once every few minutes.

Shameless bump. Is anyone else having similar problems on console?

Unfortunately Network services are made up of much more than 'You' and 'ESO'.

Your system connects to a Internet Provider... who connects to a internet backbone service... which connects to numerous routing services... before it finally connects to the ESO servers where ever they are housed.

If you are on Xbox... part of that traffic is directed through Xbox Live so you have a bit of a detour that 'alters' your rout between you and ESO possible adding more stops at least for logon and logout operations.

The point here is 'You' having a network problem does not mean all console users are having a network problem and the fact that 'You' don't have a problem with other games is not definitive proof that the issue is on ESO's end. (To be clear I am not saying it is not... I am just saying that is not proof that it 'is'.)

Most other online games don't have significant and consistent packet traffic... ESO does. So it is a higher volume user of your internet connection than say COD and it is likely more sensitive to disruptions by its nature.

Here are some tips for issues I have had.

    1. ) Reboot your console, router, and cable modem (I know, I know... that is the response for everything right.. and it does not always work... but it does a lot of the time)
    2. ) If that does not help try going though the 'Setup' processes for your cable modem and router again. (I was having similar issue with my game connection until I did this... before the reset my Download Speed tests showed speeds that varied between 40 and 80mbps ... after I was consistently seeing 250+mbps)
    3. ) Call your network provider and make sure your cable modem is current and compliant with their system... (I had a cable modem that was supposed to be compliant by my provider kept telling me it was not... after I replaced it they at least could not use that as an excuse for not helping my resolve my connectivity issues.)

NOTE: These things are not guaranteed to 'fix' your network woes. All it takes is a few seconds if disrupted network communications and you session is dropped. There are many issues across literally dozens to hundreds of network nodes between you and the game server in question that can lead to something like a 'lag out' happening. It is really a minor miracle these system work as well as they do.

The thing is, this happens after most of the game's major patches. This is far from the first time I've seen the game become basically unplayable right after an update, this just happens to be the worst offender to date.
