How many of you are persuaded to look at a forum post that a ZOS admin has commented on?

I have been guilty of just scrolling through forums posts and skip the OP to find what ZOS has said. To say the least, 99% of the time the comment is just ZOS saying they deleted comments.

Edit: I could have used "influence" instead of "persuade". You get the point.

I just get so curios. : 3 Like "ooooh, what did they say?" Mostly it is "comment has been deleted was off topic" etc.

Yeah, as a casual reader I usual check out the ZoS comments and am disappointed to find it is usually "We removed comments, stop being jerks". Would be nice if there was a way to tell forum admin related comments from real content comments. Or maybe people should stop posting stuff that will get deleted?

99% of the time it's just some mod yelling at trolls for getting out of hand, so not really.

I've clicked on the the little Z enough times to be disappointed that it's just a hall monitor chiming in and not a dev or Gina clarifying something.

Well, I have given up on this to the most part - simply because most of the time it is just a "we have removed a couple of posts, which .... <violated the code of conduct>" statement - and this is not really any helpful, to be marked with a ZOS sign, because it contributes nothing to the discussion and is a waste of time to look at those posts.

Also, once you're looking at a ZOS post you can click on the arrows on either side of the "Z" on the right side of the post to move to previous or later posts, or get a small message at the bottom of the window to the effect that there are no other ZOS posts in the topic.

Of course, you can also save a lot of time by checking the Dev Tracker at the top of the forum as that will only show meaningful responses rather than admin posts, then you can select any that appeals to you and go straight to it.

I’ve learned not to click on those. If you are interested use the dev tracker instead

If people want only the "real" dev posts and not the moderators, check the Dev Tracker. You can look for posts from a specific dev, or see all the posts from a dev in a thread, without having to read the thread. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/tracker

The real questions is why do they comment on threads like "most immersion breaking moments" but when there's a thread like "zos what's up with cyro lag" all you hear are crickets

I'm usually on the mobile site, and don't see the "Z" marker to know if a Zeni rep has commented. I read whatever topics catch my attention, and have the Dev Tracker bookmarked for important updates.

What is a "ZOS"?

Some guy writing "we removed this post because we are triggered" doesn't count as a ZOS reply. There is no dev interaction on this forum.

I used to always look at those commented on by ZO$ but anymore it is rarely anything useful and is typically "We have removed several post...blah blah...play nice...Forum Rules...blah blah..." If Gina is the respondent I will read, most others are pointless anymore.

German devs/community managers do seem to post frequently. However all of Gina's posts are there, even the two made in the "Known issues not resolved" from earlier this morning. I see 30 posts on the first page of the dev tracker, 19 are not from Kai, the German/French community manager.

You don’t even see that on the mobile version. You have to specifically check the Dev Tracker for that.

i don't understand this alternative definition of "baiting" that the mods here use, but i still haven't bothered to even find out which document might explain it.

I find their comments here pretty vapid, honestly. whether it's cheerleading someone making a "positive" thread or fingerwagging someone (like me) for getting too sharp for their comfort zone. Most of the times I've read one of their comments my thoughts were, "Why are you even here?"
