    - Follow zerg and spam mutagen. FPS still be a problem though.
    - Stay back at keep after def for tick.
    - Buy bunches of wall and door repair kit, walk around, check every corner of every keep and repair everything.
    - 3 days is nothing. They lower the xp a lots to get to rank 6 now. Be patient.

Please spam Rapid Regen not Mutagen please!

I am ashamed to not know why Mutagen is worse :(

I believe you, I am not so good at the PVPs.

    Why is Rapid Regen better?

AP gets rewarded for the amount of damage or healing done. Rapid Regen ticks more often. So the chance for more AP is higher, thus making it better for farming.

Not sure about that tbh. Mutagen lasts for 20 seconds (so you need to recast it less). You often drop below 20% HP and proc Mutagen instant heal. I am playing with Mutagen and it's doing a great job.

Btw grinding Assault/Support in battlegrounds is super easy. Took me less than 4 hours (10-15 games) to reach Rank 6 (I wanted to unlock Barrier) and got me 200k AP as well.

Just join a group that are attacking keeps and so forth, stay in the background doing ranged damage and heal when you can and you'll grind up the ranks in no time.

I also do the scouting quests which can be real nice if your faction owns the keep area that you have to scout.

I have played pvp 3 times now. Twice on my Stam DK and once on a Magblade healer. I played using my pve gear and skills because I am lazy and just wanted to get in and out with no effort.

I was surprised how fast I was able to unlock vigor. 2 sessions of about 3 hours, maybe 4 each, capturing resources and keeps with friendly players was all it took. I guess I am lucky, even though I have pretty crappy internet I didn't get too much lag (it did crash once, but I was about to leave anyway), and even though I died a lot nobody cared. No kicks, no insults, nothing. Very different to dungeons.

Taking and defending keeps was fun, even though I can't fight it was still cool to try. The grind was shorter than expected, but I don't really feel up to doing it on other characters, even though they are easier to play and will probably survive better. Maybe I'll push for caltrops one of these days, but for now I'll see what vigor is like.

There's gotta be a better way to do this. I've spent the last 3 nights in cyrodiil and gone to just barely over rank 5 assault (need 6 for caltrops to fill out a pve trials build). I've never liked pvp in this game - aside from the balance issues cyrodiil is plagued with bugs and lag. Every time you get into a heavy battle at a keep your framerate drops to nothing, and the worst part is you get no noticable impact on your assault/support skill lines unless you actually capture the keep - you're SOL if your group gets bombed, you just wasted however much time it took to get to the keep and fight for it in the first place.

Is there a pve-centric way to level these lines? Can I just solo delves in cyro or something for AP?

Nothing bugs me more than games which force pvp onto players that dislike it, for whatever reason, in order to be effective in endgame pve. Right now caltrops is too good to pass up for a stamina dps role. At the same time, aside from monster sets (which can still be purchased from the gold vendor), nothing in pve is so critical for pvp performance.
Honestly these two skill lines are worse to level for me than mages guild, and that's saying something when it comes to console play with no mage-book addons.

I LOVE seeing PvErs crying about having to lvl PvP things. ZOS wants you to do all aspects of the game.
Just like PvPers.. if we/they want to get meteor, or undaunted 9 we HAVE to PvE.
Just learn that EVERY game you encounter will have a feature thats like that, and stop crying. Easy as that.
If thousands of players had to do that grind for PvP skills in PvE, on multiple toons, so can you.
I HATE PvEing.. but if i want to mix/max my stats.. i HAVE to get undaunted 9 for 6% more stats.. yet i dont cry about it because its an aspect of the game.
Youre treating it like a socialist thing.. you want others to just give it to you for free so you dont have to work for it.. literally.

I usually only PvE, but I've leveled 2 characters this week to rank 6 to get WH, Vigor, Barrier, Purge etc. I don't PvP as a rule, am not really all that good at one on one to be honest, and keep away from the high level / CP campaigns.
I stick to under 50 on EU and I really enjoy my time in there. People are so nice and friendly, it seems less of a chore, and much more fun, especially when you have a good group.

I agree with the fact that Undaunted is a huge pain in the rear end to level. I'd much rather pop into Cyro and siege some keeps than be faced with leveling Undaunted.

Also, thanks for the Rapid Regen tip.

I would do battlegrounds over PvP if you're bad at it at this point. A few hours of that, even if u lose/win and you'll have it.

I completely agree with the Battlegrounds suggestions in the thread. I finally dragged myself to do them, but they can be pretty fun! Also can be super lopsided, but probably an hour or two of actually running around a Battleground helping out will net you a lot of experience. Quick to queue for, only takes 15 minutes or so, and you might even find you like it. Honestly, try it out for an hour or two.

Can I please get account wide Undaunted level if pvp skills are readily accessible? I hate to run dungeons just to have buff useful for pvp. Tyvm.

I just wish ZOS would implement a single day each week, or perhaps each month, for double alliance points; this way people that don't like to PvP could level their skills faster instead of months between special PvP events.

You really don't need it. I was worried that I need days or weeks to get Barrier (Support 6) - with battlegrounds it took me less than 4 hours, some 10-15 battlegrounds overall. It is super super easy to level PvP skill lines with battlegrounds.

I used some advice I found in this thread and managed to get to rank 6 today. My stamina character was already half-way to rank 5... to get up to Rank 6 it took me about three and a half hours.

I converted my stamina Imperial to Magicka, then spent much of yesterday grinding to level Light armor and both Destro and Resto skills so I would at least be a competent healer. This morning I threw on some purple CP-160 Light Impenetrable gear and headed to Vivec. At first I didn't see the Alliance rank going up from just standing back healing, so I went and tried repairing walls/doors and found that also extremely slow, so I ventured back out to the fray and played a bit of battlehealer. I actually had quite a bit of fun- my previous experience with PvP was getting ganked when trying to get Skyshards from delves- so I wasn't too fond of it. Thankfully, there was a fairly large AD group on today, so we kept fighting back and forth with EP, eventually taking a couple of keeps... which is when I saw the rank really move. So I stuck with it, found a small group and we capture some of the outlying mills and such, doing that finally got me to Rank 6.

Yay... now to go level up my Vigor and Caltrops!! :)
