Critical

Why should there be separate stats for weapon critical and spell critical shouldn't there be a single critical stat that is for any damage you deal?

I understand that using a weapon and using spells is different that is why spell and weapon damage should be different stats but I don't think there is any need to have crit chance be separated into two different stats. If you know where the weak points are you can attack the weak points for critical damage regardless if it is with a weapon or with spells.

Thief stone gives Weapon and spell damage. Any Crit amps like minor and major force affect both stats. A lot of recent sets have been having set pieces give Weapon and Spell critical together. I think it is time to combine the stats together into just critical.

That would greatly help hybrid builds and Khajit and I don't see how it would negatively effect anything.

There is a separation between crit types in the cp system but if you combined them you could give us another cp star to work with, but I also think you could leave it as is without too much issue.

Its tied in with the separation of armor types. Light armor for magic users, medium armor for stam/weapon users, and heavy armor for tanks. So when you look at the passives for those, the, separation becomes a little clearer. The sets that have both weapon/spell crit are mostly sets that can be crafted or dropped in more, than one armor weight.
