Bank items not showing up in crafting

I used to see equipment in the bank available for research and deconstruction at a crafting station. I no longer see that since Update 17.
I thought this was supposed to be one of the differences between bank storage and chest storage, that chest storage wouldn't be visible for crafting and bank storage would be.
