The outfit system, a gripe.

So, from what we were told , the motifs we gathered would be account wide, so if we got lets say the outlaw shoulders on our crafters, we could do that on every character.

Well, here I am, sitting at the outfit station on an alt, and what does it tell me? Not collected. I thought " oh, maybe you just have to pay the fee "

Nope, since it wasnt collected on that toon, I cannot use said motif.

Did I mis something where they changed their minds here? Or is my game messed?

You have to log in with the character that knows it before it will be available for the rest of your characters to use.

Well that explains it. Thnx. =)

This right here. But this is an Elder Scrolls game, so there is a good chance your game is messed as well.

Yep, the patch notes stated that you have to log in with the character who knows the motif in order to use it on other characters.

I logged in first with my crafter because otherwise my alts would only know their basic racial style. Since I did that, I was now able to use all the styles that I know on my alts.
