I think this would be a better compromise.
I am happy it's back to No-CP but don't think the flip flop was helpful.
I believe they're keeping on or the other because there's not enough players in BG to have both options. Not sure if that's true or not but that's my guess.
The thing is as the change to CP showed, those who prefer one game mode just don't bother playing the other. Yes one mode might have a small population where the "don't care" crowed go to their preferred method but you also bring in all the "won't play" crowed from the side it's not currently set to.As if the population for battlegrounds isn’t already small... you want to divide it up...
Not saying NoCP is perfectly balanced as is, but noCP is the only environment they should be designing PvP combat in. It's the only way to handle power creep.

The base game has been altered and core mechanics changed, base values tweaked, to accommodate for the champion system. Thats how they dealt with power creep. NO CP is not your base game. NO CP is a gimped, neutered, version of what the game actually is. That is not what pvp should be designed around, unless all the nerfs to everything are first reverted.
If you prefer no CP, thats great. Stay in under populated sotha sil with like minded individuals. Which is for some mysterious reason clearly the least favorite max level campaign. But don't try to force your preferences on other people with assertions about what should be done. Im sure if we put it to a vote, balancing the game around cps only would win by a landslide.
If they are going to split the queues, they should do it by having a separate queue for randomized teams and a queue that preserves group composition. Allow groups to queue for both if they want to, as long as they understand that the teams will be randomized if the randomized queue pops first.
Cannot split the queue four ways.

Totally agree with you, this is the first time I play PvP in No-CP and after some thinking I easily realise that taking away CP from everyone... Doesn't actually mean that fights will be balanced and make everything fair.
I know this sounds kind of ironic at first hand but the explanation to this is very simple, it's like if you are cutting apart an already implemented functional system. And they already did this when CP was first implemented they took apart of the players resources to the CP system... So basically they are already a one piece.
Solution - have option for either CP or NonCP, but make it free for everyone so the population can increase.
