Gold cost of dying outfit doesn't make sense

So, let's say I only change the outfit stile of say head and footwear, then why must I pay gold to dye the other stuff that I didn't change? We should pay, in my opinion, only for the parts we actually changed for the outfit!!!!

It's to try to nickel and dime you so much in gold that you lose your mind and think spending $4 on an "outfit change token" is a good idea. It's a silly proposition. All it really does is *** over players.

If your character armor set is not marked as an outfit it's still free, but at the moment your change it into an outfit even if you only change 1 or 2 parts, even the parts you haven't changed the style of you have to pay gold to dye it. It's really dumb....

FFS, always something to complain about. We've received one of the most elaborate and effective transmog systems I've ever personally encountered in a game and still the whine emerges. Maybe just get it right in preview so you don't have to spend any more of your precious gold?

If you're far into the game then gold isn't a problem, at least it isn't for me. If they are forcing you to use crowns to upgrade colours and such then that I would have a problem with. I've not looked through the notes or how it works but if it's just gold, that's ok I can live with that.

Except the preview screen only offers 1 type of lighting to view it in. The lighting in this game is dynamic and changes all the time and stuff might look great it one area while looking terrible in all the rest.

Furthermore, we were never charged to dye anything armor before. You can dye costumes with ESO+. Why doesn't my sub give me free outfit dyes?

We already earned the color. We did the acheivment associated with it and spent the time to get it. Why are we being charged to use something we already own? It's insulting.

incorrect...we were shown a carrot right in front of our face which was immediatly yanked away when we tried to take a bite
