So many topics right now that all have been discussed at length in pts, forum sections, streamers, guild chats and eso staff with twitch.
A short lesson could be, check out pts, or any of the large discussion that happen in game, with options for feedback, instead of at launch of a dlc. Way to many people walking into this patch sounding like the kid, " wha you mean we have a quiz today."
I don't mind the people genuinely asking "How does this work?" because I've been that person back when I didn't have the PTS and just wanted to know "Okay, I've read the patch notes, but how does it actually work?"
I do sort of raise my eyebrow at people complaining about certain issues on Launch Day when we've already had those discussions a month ago. Those are the sorts of topics where I think "If you wanted ZOS to pay attention to your opinion, the time for that was during the PTS testing..."
You didnt think of, hey guildies, whats up with this pts? Follow with clarifying questions.......
Am not in any guilds active enough to have regular PTS players (1/23 online on my primary guild, guess who)
but the PTS is there to test changes and provide betterment for the game
and hopefully serves that function, rather than just a way to prepare for incoming bugs
read the patch notes on patch day to be aware of what has actually made it into the live version of the game
but there is not much point in taking part in discussions on the PTS forum, due to inability to test the changes
"If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion." -- the 14th Dalai Lama Wisdom is doing Now that which benefits you later.
I do have Guildies who keep up with all things PTS and share their knowledge on our Discord.
I find wading through the PTS forums very, very boring and prefer to spend my time actually in game. Having said that you won't find me here on Patch day complaining about stuff I was too lazy to research.
What you will almost always find however is me here on Patch Day reading about ALL THE STUFF REPORTED ON PTS that has made it to live!!
Why was it worth reading the PTS forums again??
Also here because I'm a poor bored EU player. :'(
When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!
