As wrote dear ZOS_JessicaFolsom.... "We expect the extended downtime to last approximately 12 hours, and anticipate the European PC/Mac ESO server to open around 1am GMT on Feb. 13"
my earnings per month is $ 150 and the loss of one day is money to the wind.
1 month ESO+ sub = $14.99
Average days in month = 30
$14.99 / 30 = $ 0.4996666666666667
So, are you nerds really asking for 50 cents back? If so, you should probably stop playing this game and go find a career or mow some lawns or something...

Perhaps next time, use the downtime to look up what anticipate means.

"Hey Boss, I'm taking a personal day off tomorrow"
"zomg I didn't get paid for today and didn't get to play!!"
mebbe

$14.99 / 30 = $ 0.4996666666666667

Umm, I don't think money to the wind means what you think it does.....As for earnings, I have no idea where you live but......
1 month ESO+ sub = $14.99

$14.99 / 30 = $ 0.4996666666666667

When we're talking about money, there's no difference between 50 cents and 100 bucks, if you ask me. Money is still a money. Here in Russia we have a speaking that would be said as "the cent serves/protects the dollar" in English. Think about it.
Why do you think that your 50 cents cost nothing? See, if you ask ZOS to give you 50 cents, guess what would you get? So, why would I (or anybody else) let them take even 50 cents just for nothing? You paid 50 cents for this day, you can't play the game this day. Still makes no sense to you?
To those who compares off-line time because of 8 hours at work and off-line time because of server issues, well, I'm sorry but comparing those two things is laughly stupid. The former is what customer decides to do, the latter is what happenes because the company can't provide their services which a customer paid his money for.
I didn't read ToS, so I have no rights to judge anybody. I'm just quite confused with some silly posts here.

The only silly posts here are the ones that ask for something (every time we have a patch) that we already know won’t happen. Anyone who has experience with online games knows that these things happen and can take time. I don’t think anyone here is going to go bankrupt over $0.50

$0.5 * 500 000 users = $250k
Free 250k for day off work.
So who'd ignore that sum now?

Unless you can get a pc dirt cheap from that place, in which case send one my way plz.
