As wrote dear ZOS_JessicaFolsom.... "We expect the extended downtime to last approximately 12 hours, and anticipate the European PC/Mac ESO server to open around 1am GMT on Feb. 13"
One problem.
I lost one day of subscription ESO+
my earnings per month is $ 150 and the loss of one day is money to the wind.
Compensate for this day?
Once again I apologize if I seem tactless

But the answer is no. It was always a no, and will always be a no.

Was a no last year, and a no the year before that

    Was a no three years

Will be a no next year too

    1 month ESO+ sub = $14.99
Average days in month = 30

    $14.99 / 30 = $ 0.4996666666666667

So, are you nerds really asking for 50 cents back? If so, you should probably stop playing this game and go find a career or mow some lawns or something...

I had to go to work today, for 8 hours, that’s 8 hours of ESO+ that I am missing. Should I expect to be compensated for missing the 8 hours that I could be playing? Absolutely not, stop acting so entitled.

Seriously, you should be happy they are fixing things instead of releasing a busted patch.

Furthermore, read the Terms of Service that you agreed to before playing the game.

When we're talking about money, there's no difference between 50 cents and 100 bucks, if you ask me. Money is still a money. Here in Russia we have a speaking that would be said as "the cent serves/protects the dollar" in English. Think about it.
Why do you think that your 50 cents cost nothing? See, if you ask ZOS to give you 50 cents, guess what would you get? So, why would I (or anybody else) let them take even 50 cents just for nothing? You paid 50 cents for this day, you can't play the game this day. Still makes no sense to you?

To those who compares off-line time because of 8 hours at work and off-line time because of server issues, well, I'm sorry but comparing those two things is laughly stupid. The former is what customer decides to do, the latter is what happenes because the company can't provide their services which a customer paid his money for.

I didn't read ToS, so I have no rights to judge anybody. I'm just quite confused with some silly posts here.

It would make sense for them to compensate(via extra time of eso+ for existing subscriptions) for extended and unscheduled maintenance. Simply put you are paying for time of access of the eso+ perks and extended maintenance eat up the time you are paying for.

    No.

It is pretty clear that you get ESO+ for a 1 month period and that includes any maintenance needed during that time. Your ESO+ does not stop during maintenance, it is included.

Yes it sucks and I hate it as well but crap happens and you move on.

If .50 is huge where you live you might consider going FTP instead for your own finances, but if you can afford ESO+ you can afford the delays that come with it.

Well, then I must admit that you have a really bad experience. I've played MMORPs where players got free subscription days for unexpected downtime. So, it's not a rule or something for online games, you know? It's just a local ESO's "feature", and you should understand that not everyone at these forums is a long time ESO player who got used to this "feature".

The OP is from Belarus not exactly a wealth country. A months sub probably cost what would be about $150 to an American. I do think that EU ESO subs should get an extra day. You pay for 30 days, not 29.

Cost of living prices are relative to where you live. $150 probably is relatively poor even for there. But they may be a student and thus only work part time.
