Yeah. For example, PvP'ers want to make Earthgore totally useless. And this is just ONE example.

Nerf everything , let the world run slower , then players have to spend more time in the game ,
ESO could run longer and make much more profit I guess?

PvE is responsible for some of the biggest nerfs this game has ever seen. And let me ask you this, how has your ability to successfully PvE been truly hindered because of any changes made due to PvP?

pvp'ers have been the meanest people in the..just my experience...
"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

    That went sideways real quick

I got hate whispers from both PVE and PVP community. Try playing both and you'll see none of them is as bad or as good as people tend to say. Just people.

if that helps you sleep at night then keep telling yourself that.i've pvp'd for the entire game since launch minus the last 6 months. i quit the lagfest and no longer have to listen to the drama the spews outta there. and yes the amount of complaints in game and on the forums have largely been from pvp'ers. you can do a whole series of telanovela dramas just from pvp alone. the drama never stops from them. good pvp players complaining about X skills and sets. bad pvp players complaining about dying from just about everything.

They'd nerfed everything for a mixture of PVE and PVP reasons, most of which boils down to this secret.

Players who are happy with their class and their performance and who do all the content to their heart's content soon grow bored doing the same things over and over again and move on to other games.

Whereas, if you take away those players' toys and get them to grind in order to get back on top of the mountain, you keep players playing the game.

Well this is one player who, if happy with their class, performance, etc stays joyfully in the same game for years. Take away my toys? THEN I move on to other games.

If by "YOU", you mean the power creep caused by the Crapeon system, then I agree.

I used to think ZOS really listens to every forum nerf whine but then they go an nerf something no one is crying about like gap closers. So its not forum tears, its CP that is destroying this game.

Nerfs happen because someone at ZOS keeps rolling a three on the twenty sided die.

ZOS has nerfed everything in the game to be totally useless not because of the community, but because they always go overboard when "balancing" things. Not to mention, most of the PVE content with the exception of vHoF and vAS is really too easy now anyway. All content is still able to be completed even after all the nerfs the PVE has seen. The game is completely broken on the PVP side of things and PVE has been getting far more updates and attention than PVP so get over it!

Really getting tired of PVE players blaming everything on pvp, and it seems to be particularly bad in this game.

Guess what? Nerfs happen because of PVE too! And then people complain about pvpers being mean or aggressive. It often is true that pvpers are more hostile, but you wanna know why? Maybe it’s because pvp itself is meant to be a competitive environment, instead of a cooperative one.

Have you ever spent a lengthy amount of time in cyrodiil? The number of “dedicated” pvp players is probably not that far off from the number of people that do endgame raiding. The VAST majority of players might participate in both activities sometimes, but are not a part of either dedicated community.

And general thread response: pvp hasn’t been responsible for ruining pve. That is 100% on the developers for making blanket changes and not- if needed- readjusting everything that change affects. People need to stop pointing fingers and erroneously blaming, that’s just as annoying and childish as whining for nerfs that may or may not need to happen.

You in no way answered my simple question just wrote down more meaningless conjecture and personal experience. I asked you how your ability to PvE has actually been seriously hampered by changes due to PvP. So if you don’t like these threads, and can’t make any legitimate point, then just stay out of them. The next time someone asks for a PvP nerf that will really affect PvE in some way (i.e. a nerf to endles hail or wall of elements) then please feel free to chime in. Otherwise what’s the point of you coming here and whining as loudly as an PvPer asking for a nerf?

Edit: the reason PvPers make the majority of nerf or adjustment threads is because we have to face off against all the abilities and changes whereas in PvE, not only is the majority of content stupidly easy, CP increase makes it continually easier and most changes to the game simply result in a flat nerf or buff. In PvP small changes can have rippling effects that no one ever even dreamed of because instead of a boss following a preset way of fighting, you have human minds being innovative and/or exploitative. It’s also far more frustrating to face off against a human opponent and lose. So yes, it’s perfectly normal that PvP is going to generate a lot of nerf/balance threads. Sure, many of them are over the top but that’s because PvP has a very steep learning curve.
