Templar single target abilities and Ancient Knowledge

I posted about this in the Combat section and no-one appeared to know if this was a bug or intended, so I'm posting here just in case.

Radiant Oppression, Purifying Light and Ancient Knowledge

At the moment, the single target damage bonus from Ancient Knowledge (8% bonus damage for single target abilities) when using a destro staff with a destro ability slotted does not appear to provide any bonus to either Radiant Oppression or the main damage component of Purifying Light (it does increase the initial weak bit of damage). The Soul Assault abilitiy which is a very similar ability to Radiant Oppression DOES benefit from this single target damage increase, which is why I thought it might be a bug. These are two of my templar's main single target damage abilities. It does work as intended for Vampire's Bane. Is this a bug and are people aware of it?

According to my testing the 8% bonus works on Radiant (my build deliberately uses Radiant on the Inferno bar for this reason). Make sure you have a destro ability slotted on the bar (it is required to activate the passive).

There is a well-known Templar bug which Zenimax promised to fix last patch cycle (CWC) that they haven't. I haven't personally tested it and my description may be inaccurate, but this is my understanding of the problem: Apparently, in Morrowind, they changed multiplier bonuses to stack additively, so instead of doing [Base Damage x Execute Bonus x Ancient Knowledge Bonus x Other Bonuses] (which would yield higher numbers) the new inferior calculation is [Base Damage x (Execute bonus + Ancient Knowledge + Other Bonuses)]. Other class skills like Nightblade's Impale were quickly fixed while Templars were left to suffer. We've posted hundreds of complaints and got a measly "we'll look into it" from one of the devs. The current PTS patch claims to have fixed the way that Radiant Oppression's magicka pool bonus stacks with the execute bonus, but there's no indication that they fixed the stacking of other multipliers (Slayer, Ancient Knowledge, Berserk, etc) so we may still be screwed in Dragon Bones.

I've tested it a bit more and found that as you said, Radiant Oppression DOES benefit but the tooltip does NOT show the increase like all other abilities. My apologies!

Lightning staff: 17236 on the tooltip and hits for ~4000

Fire staff: 17236 on the tooltip and hits for ~4300

Purifying light is more difficult to test as I need to apply dps from other sources for the main damage component and it is infleunced by off balance etc, but I'm fairly sure it doesn't work for that spell.
