so i play a mag sorc and trust me im not complaining about this set because it will be op af on mag.
so let me know if i'm getting this right @ZOS_GinaBruno we just got rid of viper damage and your giving it to mage?
mage get a good amount more pen then stam and your giving them a proc set stronger then viper?
ty in advance for this broken mage set will use it a ton and get hate telled for being proc cancer

but seriously though zos that's some pretty high numbers for any time you deal crit damage. should look at readjusting the numbers on this set

It's definitely very strong, but I'm excited to actually have a new set to use in PvE. Im tired of Julianos/IA/MD/Willpower. This has been the meta for over 2 years now. I hope they don't overnerf it due to PvP whining, but they probably will. We need some new, interesting sets in PvE, so maybe look at adjusting the proc (maybe make it a slower moving projectile so it's easier to dodge, and make it bigger/brighter so it's easier to spot).

its a really cool set, tbh i hope it fly's at them in .5 sec and is undodgable

If it makes it to live and is halfway decent in Battlegrounds, it'll get nerfed just like Viper did. In the meantime, i except to see it on a lot of mag-based gankers.

If you pair it with Zaans on a dark elf magblade, and run cloak, lotus fan, light attack you proc both at the same time. It hits stupidly hard. It is a massively OP gank.

It already has a decently slow projectile speed. The problem is, it doesnt have a cast time so when you gank from close range its an instant hit. Especially with nightblades who have guaranteed crit after cloak.

Why dw when you can run 2h with this and zaan then slot Lich back bar. That way you can get a clean escape after putting 30k proc damage in 3 seconds while also having ridiculous sustain.

5 Stygian 5 Caluurion & perhaps 2x Zaan (gotta test how it interacts with cloak, might break it before concealed lands), so DW is necessary :P

I mean, I don't really need sustain if I can more or less guarantee anyone I hit with the combo dies (whole combo takes only 9760 magicka).

In the end, not having to waste more than the minimum amount of resources for a kill is good for sustain too in 1vX.

I dunno why ZOS keeps making these INSANE sets? Is it simply to make people buy DLC's? Then when some time have passed, they can safely nerf them to the ground. It just can't be that they didn't realize that sets like these are simply too strong? Nobody's that dull...

I use it with Necropotence on my magblade (for no other reason than me being no real magicka player, so it's the only fully golded out magset - rings and all - that I have). The damage is... Well. Too much. I will of course keep using it for as long as possible, but it will be hit hard eventually. Of course.

Compared to my magDK (where we speak of over 200 on an good evening) - generally, I don't get that nearly as many kills on my magblade during an evening, but I must have about *doubled* the numbers due to this set. It's just stooooopid.
