Its always a good idea to look which is the newest driver and get it from the nvidia website. The experience app is fantastic, but the updater is buggy AT BEST.

To anyone having the problem with the Experimental checkbox checked and endless updating, I experienced that too. What I did was I uninstalled nVidia Exp completely, re-downloaded it from the official nVidia site and reinstalled it. After that it worked just fine. Might be worth a shot.

hmm too bad it didnt work if i launch eso64.exe from other user using /runas

If it's the latest driver you don't need to redownload it, simply click the "Clean installation" option at the start. It will then uninstall all the Nvidia stuff, including Geforce Experience, and reinstall them from scratch.

I tried it and it is awesome, steam version x64, yes. Finally the sky is really blue!

My problem is that from time to time I'm seeing a short severe fps drop, and I still don't know if it is related to this or another problem in my pc.

So my question is, are you seeing any fps drop?

I have not seen anything like that. Does it only happen when using this feature? Some add-ons might cause temporary frame drops.

@ClockworkCityBugs ,
It works with the steam version, but sometimes the overlay gives me the message that ESO is an invalid game for this feature (happens with other supported games too).

@cecibergesnrb18_ESO ,
I only have noticed the usual FPS drop that ESO always had. ESO uses CPU heavily, while GPU is used fairly.

Do you have the experimental version of GeForce Experience installed? If so, press Alt F3 to bring up the overlay.

Hmm, not sure. Have you tried any other games that support the feature or even games that don't? Maybe try doing a clean install of the drivers.

While I don't have the good hardware like you, it's a hit and miss for me. Now I can't get ESO to start so I have to turn it off and then ESO works great. Not sure what I can do to get it to work again.

well I did the fresh install as well still no dice game wont start =.=
also I tried it in witcher 3 goty and it works like a glove...but for eso it doesn't even let me start the game =.=

There are three slots, labeled 1, 2, 3. Those are saved automatically per game. Unfortunately you have to select one slot each time you launch the game. It does not automatically select one. But, you can create keyboard shortcuts for each of the three slots.

Nice, but how can you take screenshots with the filter? If I activate it, and take a ss, it shows the original screen, even if I see the modified visuals.

You have to capture it with Nvidia's overlay screenshot key. I even "hotkeyed" it to F7

for me it always said game is unsupported
with non-steam all okay

So, when you next launch the game and press Alt F3 and then select either 1, 2 or 3, they are blank with no presets? If so that is strange. I have never seen that issue. You might need to post on the GeForce forums.

Anyone get a black screen in ESO with the experimental stuff checked? I can't launch ESO with it enabled. I uninstalled old version of Experience and installed new version, rebooted. It shows I have the latest driver.

I'd really love to play around with this.
