ppl that consider themselves 1 v x players are the most toxic players

I am speaking mostly about ps4 na since that's the server i play on but in my experience these type of players tend to think of themselves as a better player then almost everyone else and also tend to be the worst trolls and lie the most or seem to cheat to get ahead i've seen it for myself and always put down anyone they believe is doing something they think isn't right such as running in a 24 man group in pvp or other things they frown up on i was considering maybe switching from ps4 to pc not sure but is pc this awful also where these kind of players exist and troll pvp zone chat and other horrible things

^^^ probably jumped some guy in pvp with 5-15 ppl and got the build of 1 guy..... smh

If you don't like 1vx players, it won't help to move to PC at all. I play mostly small group pvp and if we encounter a player that is overpowered and looking for a 1vx, we typically just walk away and move on. Don't give them the satisfaction of trolling you in a tower or rotating around a tree or jumping in a rock. Any of that behavior usually just leads to me walking out into the open. If they follow, we fight on our terms in the open where the 1 is at the disadvantage. Why the x always follows the 1 onto their turf where the 1 has the advantage always boggles my mind.

Yup, and I'll be watching those 10 pugs safely from a perch in stealth and laugh as they all die.

Just to mention i only play solo most the time all i usually do is gank on a squishy stam blade but i do occasionally run in a big group in pvp when my guild runs groups i just don't see why these type of players i mention above are so hateful towards others it makes playing the game not as fun as it could be and on top of it all blocking doesn't even work on ps4 so if you are harassed by someone there isn't much you can do about it

i know i hate it when 1v1 people troll you when you dont agree with them it reminds me of other games also and one time in band camp we were playing a game and someone was drinking and they threw up and stuff and they got in sooo much trouble the next day but it was ok because our band did well in the competition even though my mom was mad at my dad for not taking out the garbage and the raccoons got it it and i like raccoons because i saw them at the zoo who doesnt like the zoo but i dont like the way eso seems like a zoo at times when you group and 1v1 people troll you to not kill them because they are solo and soo much better than everyone

there is no such thing as 1 vs X for the simple fact that if there are 2 pro players fighting and a 2nd one join the fight to aid one of them the solo one will get rekt...1 vs X is only possible for 1 pro vs noobs. I know this is harsh but it is the truth. regarding their attitude...sometimes if better to tell a noob he sux and that way if he understands constructive criticism he will get better if not... yes you will see him dead alongside the other countless other feeds.

It's the attitude of these type of players i have an issue with not because they consider themselves 1 v x players it's because their attitude towards everyone and everything seem to be horrible

Just add to ignore and all your problems will go away with a click .There are too many nice people on eso to be worried about those who are not . PVP generates competitiveness which translates into some smack talk by some . It does not make them evil or toxic just a different game culture . Back in a day when 1vX, in general solo play was more common, ppl were not that toxic. But hey Zenimax came with great balancing changes. People got mad, proc sets, heavy armor meta, resource posions. Zenimax is indirect reason why community got as it is. Those guys are the last to blame.

Thank you for the advice the only thing is tho blocking ppl doesn't work on ps4 sometimes so even if i do block these players i am referring to i can still see what they say in text chat this is part of the reason i am considering moving to pc i suspect these type of players exist there also but at least blocking ppl might work lol

I see . Well you are always most welcome to join us on PC at anytime . What ever leads to happiness is best . ZoS should really fix that for consol users though .

LOL Not a chance, the ESO streamers ruined the PvP community, and plus with today's generation of being bad boy gangsters and their gangsta speak the PvP community is completely toxic.

I know some very nice people who do 1vX... But I also know way more toxic ones who will throw meat at you when they die... It' kinda funny when they throw themselves at harder environment on purpose (doing 1vX) and then complain about dying to 3 people

Once me and my zerg (small one) take resource and we saw one PvX princess just jumping on the tower trying to seduce us and then we just realize that we actually don't have reason to fall into his/her trap so we move on. But yes they are pretty toxic and not respectful for others.

The elitist 1vX'r is someone to learn from. These guys have spent 5000+ hours in the game...or more. I could never be so dedicated to a game. But because of them and their dedicated sacrifice, I'm better at the game than I would be if they didn't make the personal sacrifice to be as good as they are.

Thank you. It completely blows my mind how much the average person doesn't understand you can 1vX good players. If you get stomped by one guy you either *** up badly or you're just bad at the game. The game is almost at its pinnacle of balance a few more super minor tweeks to set bonuses and balance would be perfect.

The actual—I'm not going to call them 'Elitists', that term is so damn cringey, but the players who are actually good at the game, most of them really aren't ***. There are *** among them, but most of the *** you run into will be people who aspire to be like these people.

Literally, I've heard the story of "This elitist was so bad at doing DPS, or healing" or "This elitist challenged me to a 1v1 with his meta build and I beat him with my 5x light hundings rage Argonian lightning staff heavy attack nightblade build" Like, isn't it so obvious to you that these people aren't actually 'elite' and are just literally roleplaying as someone they believe to be decent at the game.

Well on the eu server the most skilled players dont talk much at all so... They are not even in any pvp guilds, most of them.

I've seen a lot of threads like this lately. Whining about other players.

Step one, use the block/ignore feature.
Step two dont bring it to the forums.
Step three be happy you blocked them and have fun

That's it. It truly astounds me how people get upset at other people's behavior yet refuse to put those people on ignore. You're not their momma, you're not an employee of ZOS so trying to control their behavior or shame them into adhering to the behavior you think is acceptable it just as bad as their behavior. Ignore and move on. You'll be happier.

When you find a player running around a tree just stand in one place and hit him with a light attack each time around until your ultimate is charged then move on.
Tanks that perma block think they are trolling and/or helping out their group by taking up all that attention. Truth is (don't tell them though) they are simply letting us get our ultimates back up so we can go wipe their group.

5000 hours.... no hyperbole at all Oftentimes, the more “toxic” 1vX players are not very good btw.

Also if you go out of your way to focus your attention on someone in this game you can find a reason to hate on them. I’m willing to bet more than half of the players you hate are not toxic at all.

The good 1vX players on PC NA are some of the nicest people I know. They’re always willing to help people out and they never gloat or send salt messages.

The bad 1vX’ers, who really aren’t 1vX’ers since they can’t really pull it off, tend to be the angriest. They tend to be duelers and will get all pissy if people fight them in ways they aren’t expecting... it’s a mindset that really goes against the 1vX mentality imo.
