Do you want a transmog station or a transmog npc?

A transmog station can look like a wardrobe, but if the npc is fabulous I want one for my house...

I'd love it if it didn't require any new station at all and just had a tab added to existing stations. We'll find out soon enough how they choose to do it. I don't see the point to an NPC to transmog. It's not like selling or banking that I might want to do often and in the middle of other activities. I'd be doing transmog rarely enough that I can go to a station to do it.

Neither, I want it to be built into crafting, so being a crafter doesn't suck so bad.

Just add a new tab to existing crafting stations.

Saves the people time making a new model, animation(s), NPC with voicelines, new currency to farm and add to loot tables...
Make it so all you need is to go to a respective crafting station, have knowledge of the style (e.g. Know BA axes to change your VO axe), and ONE (1) of the style mat in order to change it.

Since styles are purely cosmetic, unlike traits, there's no reason to make "wanting to look good/matching/use my crown store only motifs or motifs that don't have dropped gear" expensive/a grind fest in any way.

Should just be an appearance tab next to armor pieces so you don't have to go anywhere .

Id rather they just give us costume slots for armor pieces and let our crafting amd creativity do the work without a grindable resource farm or new buggy npc or station

You're thinking of Transmutation, which let's you change traits. Transmog is the ability to change the appearance of an item into that of another while retaining the traits of the original item.

Would prefer if it was available through regular craft or dye stations. But if it’s a special station from the mastercraft vendor then please do not make it cost a billion vouchers...
