Stamplar vsMag DK

I have to level 50 with decent 4 man gear sets but struggling to determine which is going to allow me the best chance at getting through VMA and any end game content. I'm normally a solo player as I havent found any guilds yet on PS4 but will see how that goes.Ive searched all over the forums, read Deltias posts, Altcast website, and still not finding much. Anyone have any insight on this? Problem I have with the MagDK is the rotation is a challenge and Stamplar doesnt seem to be wanted in the groups I join as I get droped instantly before we even start.

Currently MagDK's (as far as I know) aren't taken seriously in endgame PVE due to their sustain requiring power lash which consumes off balance (which heavy attacks do anyway). Stamplars have great group utility with the ability to run war machine, repentance and most importantly, provide minor fracture and minor breach. Both have pretty tricky rotations. I love both my stamplar and magdk but I think I'll turn my dk into a pvp build until they become viable in trials.

Magdk isn't a end game setup atm so I would hold off on that. Stamplar is necessary for max pen in a raid so ppl like to have at least one. But if u want to do vma smoothly for a first timer magsorc or magblade is really good imo.

I have been able to better understand MagDK endgame issues over the last day or so and it makes since sadly. I could stick with the templar and just redo some of the achievements and what not I have accomplished with the DK but would mean a lot of redoing. Do I have the option of making the DK viable via convert to stam build? I hear stam builds are really hard to complete VMA so would it make since to get to 300 champion points, do VMA and get what weapons etc I desire, then convert to stam build and go from there.

If you want to clear vma easy get to cp 300, make a pet sorc just for vma if you care about having achievements on one character. Thing is one day mag dk will be viable again, but who knows when.
