Just remember that magicka Nightblade is essentially ESO on easy mode. Whether it be for PvE or PvP. A magicka Nightblade basically renders 95% of ESO trivial.

Magicka NBs are actually fairly tricky to get the hang of in general. However, I’d say that once learned they’re great for both pvp and pve, one of my favorite classes for sure and a lot more fun imo than stamblade.

THE CAVELRY HAS ARRIVED! Cav is a professional magblade, (in his not so professional opinion). He is immortal and is fighting for the Pact since 2E 572, amidst the turmoil of the Second Akaviri Invasion. He protects the provinces of Skyrim, Morrowind and Black Marsh.

Check out his PVP YouTube channel !

Stamina templar will be the most fun, but not the easiest by far.
Wishing for Lilmothiit race still! Or maybe Lilmothiit companion?

Huge difficulty difference in gameplay pve. I do have both of em, and you won't regret anything creating both as me.

Magicka nightblade is one of the easiest classes to farm VMA. Well beside sorcerer. Your spam ability is a good self heal and Magblades make the best bombs in pvp. Tricky to play but really fun when you get it down. So i would pick Magblade.

Stamplar provides much more group utility if that's important to you.

Okay. Let’s make this simple. MagBlades in my opinion don’t take too long to master. Check. MagBlades make: TG, DB, and other stealth-oriented things a breeze. Check. MagBlades can farm AP the quickest through bombing in Cyrodiil. Check. MagBlades can perform incredibly well dueling. Check. MagBlades can perform amazingly well in BattleGrounds. Check. MagBlades can render content like VMA a cakewalk. Check. MagBlades can put-out high DPS for trials. Check.

Well then. Seems things add-up just about right. Especially when compared to stamina Templars. And not for nothing, Magblades are definitely easier to recommend to a person than StamPlars. Even more so if it is a new player. I wouldn’t dare recommend a StamPlar to a fresh player. From a PvE perspective or PvP perspective. The amount of utility, sustain, and burst a MagBlade puts out compared to a StamPlar aren’t even on the same scale. The amount of effort involved isn’t even the same.

Magblade sustain is a bastage and pain in the ass for long 3
(3mins+) fights. Also if your ping is very variable, gl with siphon weaves.

The amount of utility, sustain, and burst a MagBlade puts out compared to a StamPlar

Two things I take issue with here: a stamplar running war machine and potl provides two amazing (one unique, bar a bow build in uour trial) buffs for the group while pulling comparable dps.

In pvp, there is far more burst potential in potl dawnbreaker jabs than any bomblade. Having played both these exact specs the last two years, I can say magblades make pve trivial for sure at entry level. Almost as simple as magplar. End game though, magblade rotation is hard and you have to "count" your assassin's will procs. Imagine managing a double barreled shotgun during a rotation. It's a lot of damage lost if all it does is go click.

Love them both, but yes magblade is so, so good for vma with their kit. Stamblades and stamplar, not so much (flawless in stamplar).
