If it is a directive by Microsoft than someone form ZoS should have no problem coming into this thread and letting us know that Microsoft is the one keeping these longer plans from being implemented at the very least. And a reason for this would be nice but not expected.

They've already shown that they don't care that Xbox ESO+ subs typically get their crowns 33-37 days after being charged the $15.
Not being able to sign-up for multiple months at once is costing us money and is a pressing issue to me. The longer memberships cost less money over the 6 months. To me, it feels just as important as us getting our crowns late as both make me feel as if I am being screwed for subscribing to their premium level tier.
