Let’s talk about Daedroths

Anyone else find it a little bit over the top ridiculous that they can continuously knock back and stun you and we don’t get any immunity? Specifically talking about Vet Banished Cells 2. I can tank everything in the game but this dungeon has way too much going on since the Daedroths can stun you at will without being able to do anything about it. Completely unnecessary.

2. Head back to vBC
3. ...
4. Profit

I'm assuming you are trying for Vet Hardmode, since otherwise your DPS should be killing the daedroths as they come up or burning Rilis down before they're a problem.

Have you tried killing the daedroths as they come up until Rilis is at low-ish health and then stalling until 3 daedroths are up so you can burn Rilis down fast? That should minimize the time you have to spend with multiple daedroths out.

Yeah, if the DPS can't keep up with the adds (whether burning the daedroths or burning Rilis) this final boss fight gets really interesting. But that's part of the challenge of this Vet Dungeon?

I know the mechanics. I’m not wanting to nerf the dungeon. I do block, I do break free. There isn’t any stun immunity to these adds. It was a pug group. I’ve tanked literally everything in this game without much issue. What I’m talking about is the constant stuns and not being granted stun immunity with break free. It was ridiculous.

I can deal. Done it PLENTY. I don’t want a nerf. I simply want stun immunity after break free to work. I was blocking, I’m the tank. I did break free. I’m grown. I’m “gud” enough to tank everything else in this game. Troll elsewhere maybe?

This is why I don't tank in PuGs.

Literally, you shouldn't be being touched by the adds. They should be long dead before then.

It's mind numbing how bad some dps PUGs can be

Agreed, that was the source of the problem because I’ve honestly never even noticed the lack of immunity to the Daedroth stun before today. I’d have the swirls around my feet and everything as if I had immunity, but was being stunned anyways repeatedly. 4 straight stuns all before I could even stand back up was ridiculous.

The most important thing to understand about transdimensional demon crocodiles is that they have really itchy, dry skin so they're not going to be all that receptive to your pithy mortal feelings.

You just have to put them out of their itchy misery as quickly as possible so they can be reborn into another, more remote itchy misery.

Its easy to beat daedroths. If you're magicka DPS. After a couple of break frees as a stamina character your at the point where you can't deal enough damage to stop their flow.
