Traits on vMA, stone and CP will need updating, and MD is probably better, but yes, still an effective build for rotation/gear.

Thief mundus was nerfed. Asylum Lightning staff would be preferred ono the FP bar as 3 of them in 10 seconds places all three elemental effects on the target.

If you are running with a group there is no need for ele drain. Healer would be running that.

I pretty much retired from pve after soloing the mantikora on this build. The Morrowind sustain changes also made this playstyle much less fun for me. That said, at a glance, here's what I would change to run it today:

- change thief stone to atronach
- run Alcasts CP distribution
- change the spell damage enchants on the jewelry to magicka recovery

Anyone still running this build? I still do; it's fun in a variety of settings. Looking for ideas to update it for Summerset.

I'm still runing this build, but made a few adaptation to fit post morrowind changes. Actually Morrowind changes helped drastically this build. I changed cp distribution for Alcast one, took the mage as mundus for better shield strength, but even more importantly I discarded the attack wawe skill and run only on heavy attacks with lighting staff. This work incredibly well. I manage to get 34k dps on dummy, I have zero sustain issue, I'm tanky as hell. I even tried changing the healing pet for more dps skills, but the pet actually does enough DPS to make it the most viable choice even against crystal or else. So still awesome OP set when using only heavy attacks, you can even more easilly solo contents because of heavy attacks sustain ^^ And aesome in groups, you seriously out-dps 95% of the players around here ^^ I'm not even bothering changing builds for 99% of the game content now.
