I'm building a PvP Magplar

DW/SnB
5 Heavy 2 Light
5 Wizards Riposte
5 Shacklebreaker
1 Slimecraw
1 Domihaus

Given all this info on my duel wield does anyone know what is or should be the strongest traits on my Duel Wield?

Double Nirn?
Nirn/Precise?
Nirn/Sharp?
Nirn/ Infused?

Anyone advice or info would be greatly appreciated.
Playing on PS4 NA server and current characters are CP 750

Are you running 2 riposte on the body? Id run it on a snb backbar it last 15 seconds so its easy enough to keep it up, and you can run 2 willpower swords on the front.
As far as traits nirn main, with heavy armor precise is prob your best bet but sharp is decent too. Infused only if your confident that you can proc the enchants often enough.
Oh Yeah dont go double nirn the bonus wpd is heavily diminshed in offhand.

I would run Riposte backbar but I don't want to give up my Shacklebreaker 5 piece and don't want to pay for an expensive [snip] shield and sword

I was considering precise sword, Only have like 34% crit. That's what Slimecraw was supposed to help with since I'm running heavy. Don't want or need to he insanely bursty. Need a build with more sustain/survivability

    I am using Nirn/defending
Nirn in gold seems to grant the highest damage boost overall for me.
But that's also because of using spinner and I need some extra raw damage for those shield stackers

You are not giving up the 5 piece shackle, just run it on the body. Also theres a vendor in vivec city where you can buy Bg set weapons for ap. Also you can buy the shield for cheap in a trash trait and transmute, its what I did. Same for willpower swords.

I use nirn + sharpened as it does the most continuous damage for me, especially with heavy armours lack on penetration sharpened seems strong and I guess there is no explanation needed why nirn is crazy good. Alternatively I have also tested nirn + infused, which wasn't bad either and had great burst, I think having more reliable damage on your skills is better on Magplar. However I should mention that I play a more offensive build, so maybe results are different for you.

I do nirn+ sharp. If you are under 7k penetration, always go sharp on offhand for PvP.

You should never use nirn or infused on your off-hand weapon. Infused main-hand applies to both dual wield weapons. Nirnhoned main-hand gets nearly all of the effect, while Nirnhoned off-hand does nearly nothing.

Infused main is best if using enchants. Nirnhoned main is best if using alchemy poisons.

Sharpened, precise or defending all work well for an off-hand, depending what stat you want to boost (pen, crit, or resist).

A Magic character wearing 5pc Heavy with Melee weapons? Well, I guess since it's a MagPlar your actual "weapons" consists of spamming Sweeps. Swear though you PvPlayers are the true purveyors of Hybrid builds.

DW passive gives 2.5% more damage per sword you use...Magplars are one of the only classes that can run heavy and still really make it work
