It would be great if I could zoom in on the zone map a little closer. Maybe not as much as a city map but it's getting hard to mark a set destination while I'm lorebook hunting. As of now I can still see the entire zone map at full zoom.
PC gamepad mode user (same interface as console) - agree the zoom is too slow, and would also love, when the map changes from Aurbis-> Tamriel->zone, if it would be centered where the cursor is. I know where I want to go on the map, and it's annoying when jumping from the Brass Fortress to Vivec that I have to move the cursor from Cyrodiil every time. (And why center on Cyrodiil? We can't wayshrine into Cyro anyway)

EDIT:I think I'm having Cyrodiil Withdraw, seriously I thought I read Cyrodiil Map Slowness... I'll just put my Cyrodiil response in hiding. But I agree with you all in PvE. Map is slow on Console every where.
Aye I agree with you 2. Nay, I don't like how slow; The Cyrodiil Zoom is. When I want it to zoom, it's supposed to. Zoom, zoom, zoom; least until it can't no more. But hey, at least while Guard duty, in keep for 1 hr and no one attacks keep. It gives me something to do. Whilst I guard the keep. I welcome the slowness of zoom in keep. But alas, I cry foul. When I look at map, when everyone around me getting attacked. O how I love, being not loved.

Agreed, OP. Console maps are in a bad place ATM. It's difficult to mark lorebook/skyshard locations, as the cursor more often than not snaps to a point of interest close to the lorebook/skyshard (since we can't zoom in any closer). More irritatingly, significant FPS drops and stuttering while using the map has been an issue for the past two updates or so. I never had problems like that in the past, so someone definitely broke something (I'm thinking it might have something to do with the addition of the CWC map).
A simple fix to console map zoom would be to make it so when you tap the trigger, it zooms out one level and when you hold it, it zooms like it currently does.
