Dodge Chance after Roll Dodge in PvP

Does anyone know the full mechanics of dodge chance after a roll dodge? It seems that during the roll animation their chance is 100%, but as they’re getting back up it’s a lot higher than shuffle’s 15% but it isn’t quite 100% either. Like while they have that root immunity from roll dodge they also have a passive 50% dodge chance that stacks with shuffle or something...

Does anyone know the full mechanics of this?

    It is short window of 100% dodge chance. Except game does not work the way it is supposed to and stuff can hit you during this window or even during the dodge roll for reasons

    I dont know what happend in last months to dodge and if its related to lags, but in past you could always chain dodge rolls with vigor in middle or smth and never be hit (by dodgeable stuff). This is simply impossible now without any intended (and noted) change.

    Follow up question - at what point in the dizzy swing does it calculate the dodge chance? I always assumed it was at the end, especially because I wil intentionally queue one up when the target is half way through a roll dodge so I hit them when they’re coming up. It’s possible that the system could take the average of the two (chance at start and chance at end).If I was lagging, that would put the target even further away from their 100% dodge chance so I don’t think that’s it.

    Depends what you mean. There is lingering dodge chance aka dodge window after performing roll and that one is 100%. There is nothing connected to the root immunity (that was added like 2 patches ago). It not first neither last buff connected to dodge roll.

    But you will see that for yourself once Lexxy tests it with you.

    Never had addon that could report it precisely (if game even tells about it) but it is less than 1 sec i think. Crusader set was build to extend it (and thats why it has only 0.3s, compared to original duration it is significant buff). Thats if you mean the post roll animation.

    Basically the duration is long enough to cast 1 skill (depends on the skill obv) and dodge roll again (or used to be, as I said in first post, lately I have been getting hit for reasons even if I chain dodge instantly after another). There are definitely some random bugs and lag issues surrounding dodge roll.

    edit: Technically there is no post dodge roll window. Its still the same window that started with dodge roll,but 2/3 of it are wasted on dodge roll animation and only the rest (~less than 1sec) you have free control.

    Dodge roll grants either 1.5 or 2 seconds of immunity.

    Its why you only need 2 well timed rolls to evade chudan full spit attack.

    dont know about RNG but dodge roll effect lasts too long now.

    The animation clearly ends but the caster still has the dodge buff on him, which allows people to use dodge roll as a guaranteed damage mitigation buff, rather than a defensive manuever.

    Good players abuse this to force people to play defensive. And playing defensive means you're gonna die a slow, painful death, so Its a no no.

    For this very reason Im using fossilize now.

    yea this is really stupid and broken

    i stay quite about it because i dont want to see always this in the game but you already talk about it

    i throw 2 normal attack in dual wield + my ultimate all dodge this make any sense , i know is got one set giving +0.3 sec of Invincibility on roll dodge but idk how this effect everything , the only think i`m sure the result is just broken player just dodge 2 or 3 attack in the row , yes i get sock the first time i see this , this make me remember spark ability

    I see the complete opposite issue. I see single target skills going through dodge roll constantly because of server issues.

    Other person:
    As far as the ability to cast something directly after a roll dodge, the window has already past by the time you are allowed to cast anything.
