Is mist form supposed to purge rapid regeneration/mutagen?

I just noticed today that going into mist form purges the buff of rapid regeneration.

Is this intended behaviour or a bug? I know it doesn't purge healing ward.

I'll have to test. But I wouldn't be surprised that it did (shouldn't, should just suppress the HoT during duration

@Waffennacht It definitely happens, tested it extensively on my magDK in Cyrodiil yesterday evening.

Had the idea of running mistform with rapid regen, boosted by the vMA resto to return magicka while in mist (same principle that makes desert rose good on magDK).

Turns out going into mistform purges rapid regen anyway, so all the above is moot.

But yeah, intuitively I'd expect mistform to merely suppress healing. Entirely purging HoTs seems excessive.

Note: I also discovered that you CAN still benefit from the vMA resto magicka return during mist, but it has to be ticking on an ally.

I'm gonna say working as intended, its the easiest way to ensure no heal can work on you. And just like with holding block, other sources that are not magicka recovery does work even if regen is turned off.

I get snared n slowed all the time in mist form. Just to input and that was at update 2.1.

you cannot get heals while being in mist form.

Your regen also stops.

Is the health regen thing new? I remember I used to wear troll king on my templar healer and would do a hot then jump in mist form and the big health regen tics would still heal me.

Haven't tried this in the last couple patches though.
