Can You Buy the Upcomming Storm/ Wild Hunt Stuff with Gems?

I’m not clear on whether or not you can, given the verbage used in the post for the December Showcase. It makes it sound as if only Flame Atro stuff can be bought. Or do they expect us to gamble on them?

✭I admit that I was not paying that much attention when I was reading about it very early this morning and before coffee, but if they are gamble only, I already invested what I was going to on the crates for the season. ✭This upcoming model for the re-introduction of the Storm Atronach / Wild Hunt seasons is much closer to how crown crates were originally going to be implemented. Gems, and being able to buy things directly, were only added to quell the overwhelming dislike many players initially expressed in online forums.
I missed out on these crates and yeah there are some cool things in them but now even paltry Epic/Superior rewards are a radiant gamble? No thanks, but I fully support the idea of a direct purchase model as has been echoed by many a player.
Sadly this is the true form that ZOS would like for these crates. If you thought Radiant Apex mounts were bad, now they are bringing Radiant Seasons.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭They cut off Reaper's by nearly a month and reintroduced Wild Hunt which received almost an extra month.
That's the dumb part about it. If each season was 90 days, give or take a few days, they wouldn't even have to play afterthought games like this. They should have just delayed Flame until January and kept Reaper's going through December.signing off0 -

BlazingDynamo✭✭✭✭✭My guess is Reapers done very poorly. Mounts were the worst I've seen. They knew the Flame mounts and the skin would bring in the holiday cash flow.
