I think many of us have been waiting for this day to come. And now we finally have Consoles that can rival mid to lower high range Gaming PC rigs.
So why not have some extra bells and whistles for our Console game clients? I'm not asking for texture resolution options or a rendering slider. Minor settings that mess with the image output. Contrast, Gamma, Color Levels etc. Maybe even shadow and lighting. For me personally, my Xbox loves to render the image very dark in the low light areas. Even on a sunny day my character is nearly pitch black on the parts of their body that isn't facing the Sunlight. I could just go into what options we have and increase the Brightness, but then that just washes the image out, it doesn't keep it crisp. And the fact that my brand new 1440p Monitor had to be the "Economy" model and comes with a rudimentary Menu settings doesn't help. Whenever I take screenshots to keep I usually have to put them through Gimp and mess with the Color Levels/Contrast/Saturation to make them look better.
I don't even see the point in having a whole separate Video Options screen when there's only two options. Brightness and Screen size.
