I don't think that that bear bundle is worth 1900 crowns as I'm not really into consumables.
Seeing Morrowind on sale was nice, but I really hoped for a crown sale.
I wish that old bundles and costumes went on sale. Both starter packs were on sale earlier, so why not put on sale those "triple costume" bundles too?

Discounts on ESO and Morrowind are useless to us. No explanation needed.

That bundle is totally not worth it cause apart from the bear most of us don't use / care about XP scrolls and other consumables that are not selling well separately. In other words it's 1.900 crowns for a bear. It doesn't sound like a bargain to me.

Free mount? Well, free stuff is always nice and thank you for that but I'm pretty sure most of us won't be riding this for more than 10 min since it's not what we chose/would like to have. I checked it yesterday and after 5 min went back to my Elk mount and I won't bother with it anymore. E.g. giving us an opportunity to choose one item from the previous crown crates seasons or retired items would be much nicer.

So... for most of us there is no black fredas/friday this year.

There's nothing I want that I don't already have (I like ESO and Morrowind but I already have them), so I won't be buying anything. But it's a good deal for other people, and the free mount is nice.

Plus I'm British and 'black Friday' has only existed over here for a few years and is nothing like it is in America (plus it seems pretty arbitrary without Thanksgiving) so I've never gotten into the mind set of expecting cheap stuff at this time of year.

So, this month I've gotten a free pet, a free mount, and with the crate thing coming up, a chance on more free stuff.
And, I got more useful stuff like experience scrolls and potions, including a bear mount all for less crowns than a mount usually costs.
No, I'm not disappointed. They didn't have to give us anything or put anything on sale for that matter. Name one other game that has a cash shop that does that.

This was the Black Friday sale from 2015, all I had to do was type in ESO black friday sale into google if anyone wants to see previous sales.

It's funny...players in that post are complaining about crown packs being on sale, saying it leads to greed.
Fast forward to 2017 and everyone here is complaining about crowns NOT being on sale.

The word 'sale' itself has a meaning of getting things cheaper as usual. Ofc there are sale when we can obtain just a few things this way, or a lot more, and in my experience, an announced sale means the latter case, so a lot of items. Especially the 'Black Friday Sale', when the whole action means that there are lots of items on discount. I could imagine a 15% discount on all things in the crown store, as well as former items reappearing, on a lower price.

Yesterday, I was, until I saw that for the money we were going to spend on crowns, I could finally pick up a PS4 VR bundle that went on sale last night. Had we stocked up on crowns during a sale, I wouldn't have spent the money on VR. I'm not getting any younger, and have been intrigued by VR, so figured, why not.

What's funny is, if VR usurps ESO for the bulk of my leisure time, I won't have a need to spend any money on ESO anymore. Opportunity cost in action.

That said, I mostly looked at it, saw the "8k1 crowns worth for 1k9 only!" tag, checked the items, and realized that I had only any sort of use for the bear. It can be nice for a newer player, but for the rest, it's just a reskinned bear mount for 1k9 crowns.

I voted no, because I wasn’t expecting anything to begin with. Then again, I also wasn’t really planning on buying the bundle as well. Can’t really be disappointed in something you aren’t buying, and also means little to nothing to you.
