Also im glad guild leadership has decided against certain setups. that DK trollking permablock until WW is up is brutal...
May i suggest a ult dump rule as well? As in you must be at 0 ult when the fight starts. Light attack until full, wait a few seconds for ult regen buff to fall off then use the ult under supervision of an officer. Somtimes it can be an issue when i duel in stormhaven and i have soul assault up, just to one two punch my enemy within fove seconds

The trick to beating werewolf builds is to go full offensive once they're up. Burst him all you got and you'll put him on the defensive, and once that starts it's bye bye resources. It's really tricky though as they have crazy pressure thanks to OP defile, just gotta do more damage than they do first.

Nice to see Legends back. Congrats Kena and all the other winners. I enjoyed watching on the steam.
That's interesting to see all five magicka classes are represented in the top 5. How many stamina players were there in the tournament?

Old man Azoi is that you? You mention legends. I don’t remember any perched birds or so called damage gods during the era of legends. Even young Kena was only born when the gates of the Imperial City were cast open, and he took the name of the demon Molag Kena. You and I both know Axoi that even at that time Columba’s battles with the impulse spamming pedarests were the stuff of legend. Lowbei was lurking the alleyways waiting to pounce on wayward young argonians and khajiit. The evil warlords Fixate and Nicolle with their army molded in their image marched across Cyrodiil, exploiting bats, leaving destruction in their wake. If it weren’t for a COVENANT general by the name of Egypt and his troops standing on the thin line between life and the apocalypse, we all would have been f***ed. Mad King Krotha, Atropos, WRX (pre battle with Scipio), Winni “Tinker Bell” Mae, Blade Boques and his flying Squirrel, Moon PiE, Rylana and Brizz worshipping Zazebra, Pixy Stix, Teapot, Krim Cheese, Infinite Loadscreens as Darklord Tiberius on EP, Bandz A Make Her Dance, Lefty Lucy, Sabre Ali!, Fengrush (pre stam sorc buff), Ezareth (lactose intolerant, no Greek yogurt), Crystalized, Trypwyr, Benzyboy (so young he might as well been Benzybaby at the time), Gooey on No Mercy (lol), and the list goes on and on...
So you say legends are back? Would a real legend come back with a different name? Where is Dark Syner? He had over 1,000 CP two weeks after CP was introduced to the game. ZOS implemented CP cap, his biceps deflated, he cried, and disappeared from Tamriel. Lol

I watched the tournament was very entertaining but why were the only stambuilds meduim stamblade.
If you ban defile CP things look a whole lot different for stam classes - they have no realistic way of countering defile against a shielded magica build.

A Befoul ban is not easily enforced and would increase stalements against and between templars, DKs, and wardens. It's an imperfect fix on its own, and I'm not sure what other bans would be needed to balance the system. I don't think they'd be easily enforceable either, which is my #1 concern when coming up with tournament rules.
It's like a tilted game of rock paper scissors where rock doesn't beat scissors.
Heals are op...heal debuffs without Befoul are useless...heal debuffs with Befoul are super strong...shields don't care so much about your defiles...and stam is left faltering.
@Gilliamtherogue theorized in Discord the other night that the system works this way because effects which increase and reduce healing do not properly counter each other.
- Healing buffs include vitality, mending, earthen heart, siphoning, flat passives, etc
- Healing reduction is limited to defile, the mirror to vitality
- Befoul CP is super strong, to the point where defile can overpower those healing buffs
- Quick Recovery and Blessed are comparatively weak, and are in the end reduced by Befoul's influence anyways
This tournament looked so fun that it made me want to participate in it.
Can compare it to last eu tournament with 90% tanks and trolls searching for attention..
Btw, why no start with zero ult?
P.S.: no-CP duels ftw.
