The gold necropotence jewelry has been released on the Golden. You might still be able to find some for sale on guild stores even since its bind on equip and people will often resell those.

Here's a history of items on the Golden Vendor, though be aware that lots of new overland sets were added with Clockwork city, so it could be a while before necropotence necklances show up. It's marginal gains.

If you can, why not do it. End game there is little else to blow your wad on. Also its 'free' if you use AP.

And some gold sets are like 10k the less popular ones.

Lastly if you bother holding the other two pieces you might as well to have the set gold

I don’t think you realize how small that number is. It’s like being happy because you have a crumb of food more than someone else. Unless you’re absolutely loaded, have literally nothing else to spend your gold on, and you really want to show off your completed “gold” set, it’s a complete waste of money.

One piece by itself isn't much of a difference, but if you're comparing full purple vs. full gold then it becomes more prominent. And when talking PvP and you go toe to toe with an opponent with the same gear and skill level, those differences will come into play.

Personally, I got gold Necro jewelery because I'd been using the set for a really long time and figured I may as well max them out while they were available.

Yes, and I think it was about 3 weeks ago I bought some rings and traded for the new festival masks. I was lazy and didn't want to grind. I still have a neck and 2 rings, unequipped, chillin on my mule.

If you were on PC NA, there is a gold necro necklace for 150k in on of the guild traders in Alkir right now.

Oddly when The Golden had necro last time, I found them half price on a couple guild traders. I'm guessing people who bought them with ap to sell for gold.

And how sad is that. It takes twice as many improvement mats to go from purple to gold as it takes to go to purple, yet all you gain is fractions.

All you gain is fractions...for your set bonuses. You gain a fair bit more in terms of armor and weapon damage, but that applies to armor and weapons being golded out, not the jewelry that we are talking about here. The increase you get from gold jewelry is rather small. The increase you get from gold weapons, armor, and enchantments cumulatively is another matter.
