COSTUMES I want to see please

Unfortunately, getting your gear right almost certainly leads to a total mis-match of Armour - and some of the best combinations are just plain UGLY! That’s why Costumes are so popular, and loads of them are terrific. So, while I love a whole heap of the costumes that I have acquired over the past few years, I really really really want to see.......

......normal armour costumes!

What I mean is, I want to be able to equip a costumer that looks like a standard motif in the game. For example, I really like the Nord heavy armour style - I’d simply like to be able to equip a Nord Heavy Armour costume. The art already exists in the game, and I imagine these options would be really popular.

I would love the Imperial/Colovian uniform disguises from quests to be costumes. Or really of those disguises - I mean they're in the game already right?

I would love to get the disguises we get in quests to also be available as costumes once the quest is over.

I'd love for the Breton hero outfit to get a separate animation for the coat. It doesn't have to be physics enabled, just have it pull away from the legs, when you move or crouch, rather than bonding it to the user's legs.

We need a dedicated npc armor set for each race in the game. Redguard would be nice.

I wouldn't want current armour styles to be available as costumes as it may make enough money to deter them from implementing transmogrification.

They have said that they are working on tmog and it should be one or two updates away now.

When tmog arrives it should make motifs very relevant so having such costumes may detract from that.

I can't wait for tmog and am happy for the costumes to have a unique look. I like the idea that someone else mentioned about disguises becoming costumes once you complete the quest too.

Transmog is in on their way it is still in the develomnet phace but we will all soon have that feauter in game soon.
if you are not familiar withe word transmog do some google search on WOW transmog system 7.1

All depends how they implement the mechanics. If I have to grind away at things I don’t want to do, to get a billion crystals per item, which lock that item to me and can’t be traded........ yeah, just give me the costume please!

Ooh yeah; that too! It would be cool, if it is crystal based, that they also drop from writs then! If the item transmogged is already bound then it remains bound, if not, then transmog should not bind it.

I also think that as yet unequipped/unbound things like Necropotence pieces should not be bound after trait change either!

Oh also dyed items! Let pvpers/pvers dye gear for people with the best black and/or red - or the many trials colours and charge for it for people who don’t have/don’t feel like doing the content to get those colours!

Rewards for the worthy are garbage, and trial gear is bop!

Topless costumes are sorely missing. No, not the Bosmer weird half bolero jacket business, full topless. Like the Pirate's First Mate, or Dark Shaman ( w. obligatory kinda bra for women). However, the baggy pants on the Pirate First Mate are ugly. I have never been lucky/rich enough to get Dark Shaman. But I digress...Why are there no costumes with tight pants for men that are also topless?

Women may also want this option, as I dislike the the bosmer weird half bolero jacket look.

Yes, imperial 7th legion costume from bangkorai is awesome.

id like to repeat my suggestion that once you unlock a complete armor motif you should get the 3 variants as a costume...this would be te easiest most comfortable solution

The one costume I'd like to see is a mage's robe with NO hip flaps, NO weird neck gear, NO pieces that look like metal armor, a floor length skirt, long sleeves and that dyes like the upper level khajiit robes. And with a neckline similar to this:



My characters would wear the sweet bejesus out of that costume.

originally alot of the motifs were available as costumes, https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/lion-guard-knight/ is breton motif in heavy armour for example but all of them have been removed and they haven't released any new ones

We also have three bellydance costumes that have been available but they all have poofy harem pants. I'd like to get one with a long skirt instead. With, of course, NO hip flaps. And no weird huge chunky arm jewelry. And a floor length skirt that looks and dyes like bright silk...not leather.

I'd like this and a Vivec one, you can get something similar to what Sotha Sil wears using the Apostle Style, but it's not perfect if you're trying to replicate him.

But there definitely needs to be some new costumes soon, the current ones are way too basic and look abit silly. I want the Telvanni Master Wizard costume to return, annoyed I missed out on it.

What i would love to see is the dawnguard armor but rather as a motif than a costume with weapons and a nice story dlc...i think dawn guard was the best looking TES armor ever...

besides this, a knights of the nine inspired armor or vigilant of stendarr would be nice (i think they didn't exist then tough)...something for a paladin - warrior-mage mix
